Welcome to the Dimension Heroes forum. This is a story that has been near and dear to me for quite some time, having gone through many an incarnation through the last decade or so.

Taking a quick look at the premise, you may find it to be a tad cliche. But isn't that how a lot of stories appear at first glance? The plot appears rather lighthearted and simple, but gradually becomes more complex and dark as the characters learn exactly why things are happening the way they are (think Digimon meets Power Rangers).
