Topic: Favourite Tudor?
Which is your favourite Tudor person?

It could be a king or queen, a noble, a rebel, a spy or anybody else who was around at the time.

In fact - which is your favourite to write?

Mine might be Queen Elizabeth - although that might be because of Cate Blanchett playing her in the two films. They took a few too many liberties with those films, but I still like them...

I will love Anne Boleyn until the day I die.

But Robin Dudley & Amy Robsart are an interesting duo, if not entirely tragic.

And, back on the Boleyn train, Thomas Wyatt was such a diehard. I guess

that's probably why I love Anne so much, because she managed to completely

ensnare all of these men, and drive them nearly mad over her.

I find Anne Boleyn and Jane Seymour the most fascinating of Henry VIII's wives. Anne, because she was (in my opinion) a brilliant and clever lady, and Jane because of, well... it's hard to explain. Had Jane survived, history might have changed completely. She was one of the many turning points in history, and because of that I find her interesting.

I also enjoy studying Jane Grey. I don't really know why :D

Yeah - Jane Grey is a really interesting character, through all the drama she went through being just a pawn in other people's plans, being only sixteen at the time... I prefer Katherine of Aragon and Catherine Parr out of his wives. The first because of how she was a complete victim of an unjust, lecherous man and yet bore it all with stoic courage, and Parr because of how she kept patient and wise through those last years - quite a feat considering it was Henry VIII we're talking about.

Oh - and Shakespeare of course. Definitely my favourite Tudor of all time - the man was a genius. I don't get it - I'm a teen who actually likes Shakespeare. I know practically nobody else who admires him.

Shakespere is good!! Don't like Anne, for reasons I can't write. Her sister Mary was ok though and Elizabeth of course!! I liked her before I saw the movies though.

I love Anne Boleyn. She's always fascinated me since I first heard about her like in 4th grade lol.

Also Jane Grey is another of my favorites.

Hmm, Jane is sort of forgotten, she wasn't around for long, just had a baby (Edward) and died. Katherine Howard and Anne of Cleves are also favourites. I like Katherine of Aragon because she was the daughter of Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon Mary, her daughter, rather dissapoints me althoughh I do not believe she deserves the title 'Bloody Mary' which some people like to call her.

For me it's a tie between Queen Elizabeth and Anne Boleyn.
