Topic: Back at School
First day: dull. But it's nice to know that I'll be okay with most of my teachers. And I have a few friends in some of my classes. Overwhelmed by the number of papers coming home. Backpack filled to capacity. No locker yet.

Second day: A little bit of work, but mostly review and "get to know you" stuff. Found out I have some quizzes this week (two tomorrow). Had some homework. Still no locker (arrgh).

So how has school been for you?

By the way, we need to find a place in the morning where we can meet, now that we don't have a class together anymore. It'd be cool to see you more than just accidentally in the hallways (also: finally found that sheet music thirty seconds too late).

Yes, this post was supposed to be very informal.

Same here. Although I tend to get along with most people. Unless they're rude, annoying, or downright idiots.

My Language Arts teacher seems amazingly awesome. Although I always have high expectations for English classes. Must say, Freshman year was a disappointment in that aspect. Let's just say, CP is terribly boring and not for me.

I know what you mean. Although I'm going to have to get used to it for I don't use a locker.

Pretty well. Already met a couple new people I like. That's what I love about the first day of school--a new setting, new people, a brand new start. Some of my friends share my classes. However, none of my close friends (which I have few of). I'm missing some people right now, but hopefully we'll find other ways of keeping in touch.

Yes. That's exactly what I was thinking. I was actually going to write a post about it, but my music distracted me. Music for me is an addiction, really. But I guess it's better than taking drugs. :p

Anyway, I'm thinking the library. I love libraries. Does that suffice?

(also: finally found that sheet music thirty seconds too late).

I swear, you are just like me sometimes. Forgetful and scatterbrained. Although I'm probably a lot more so. :p

I have to say, I don't really see a change in your writing voice. Even when you're trying to be informal, you're eloquent. Guess you’re just a born writer. ^_^

As for me, I know I probably don't sound much like a writer when I speak. Most of the time, not even when I write. But, hey, people like my writing (as far as I know), so it's all good. :D

I apologize for not meeting you this morning. I missed the bus and my parents refused to take me to school.
