I'm sure some of you have seen the Kohl's commercial, for back-to-school clothing and stuff... it goes 'I'm a leader, I'm a winner, and I'm cleaner, 'Cause I'm awesome!' and so on.

The band that sings that song is called The Dollyrots. I've been a big fan of them for about a year now.

They're a punk-ish band, but their songs can be very pop-like because lead-singer Kelly-O has a high pitched voice.

I like to describe their music as, "Cotton candy with a kick in the face."

And here's where I brag. You don't have to read this.

I won their t-shirt design contest back in June, so when I met them last Friday at a concert in Baltimore, I got a nice VIPish treatment. They're really nice people, and the band's pet, Sniffy, is really sweet.
