Morte d'AmourTopic: Avenged Sevenfold So, it's a hard question to answer what your favorite band is. There's so much out there to listen to, but I would have to say Avenged Sevenfold is currently my ultimate favorite band. The guys are wicked and truly are masters of their instruments. Synyster Gates is one of the best damn guitarists I know of. They're due a new album late this year or early next!| #1 Oct 19th 2006, 10:51am

polka dots and addictionsooh..I've only heard a few of their songs, but the ones ive heard are really good. Ive heard Beast & the Harlot, Seize the Day, & another one which i dunno the name of... |
Morte d'AmourHmm, those are the songs on their newest album in which they made music videos. Perhaps the other one you heard was Bat Country? It's a pretty popular song.| #3 Oct 20th 2006, 10:05am

Ashley BrookI love the song! ^ |
Morte d'AmourYou mean Bat Country? Yeah, it's a great video, and they won an award for it. Synyster's solo is awesome in it. |
YJanZ-ProvidenceBat Country rocks. Then again, i like most of the songs I heard from them. Sidewinder has a nice guitar solo in the end, (not sure if the guitar used there was electirc, but it doesn't really matter) |
polka dots and addictionsyeah, Bat Country, thats the one ;] |
Morte d'AmourYeah, I thought so. :]Actually, in Sidewinder, the solo at the end was an acoustic part played by Brian Haner Sr. which is Synyster Gates' father. Yeah that's a great song, and I also like most of their songs; I have all three of their cds. Other good songs are Chapter Four, Eternal Rest, The Art of Subconscious Illusion, The Wicked End, And All Things Will End...and basically all of them. |
OneLastEndeavorNo offense, but:EW. I tried. Really. I gave them a chance. But that lead singer is not my most favorite thing in the world. |
Morte d'AmourNo offense taken. Everyone has their own personal tastes. What about them that you don't like?| #10 Nov 23rd 2006, 9:19am

OneLastEndeavorThe vocals. Duh.| #11 Nov 27th 2006, 4:39pm

Morte d'AmourAh, yes. I'm taking you're not really a fan of all-male vocals in metal genres?| #12 Nov 28th 2006, 4:05pm

OneLastEndeavorHELLOOOO...You're talking to a die-hard Kamelot/Roy Khan fan here. I like male vocals which show that the guy has some talent. Roy has been classically trained. And that guy from AS is just plain weird. He doesn't sound pleasing to my ears.| #13 Dec 01st 2006, 10:10pm

Morte d'AmourOk, true true. Roy Khan is amazing. :) I do love his voice, but I do think Matt Shadows sings well...except live. I mainly listen to A7x though because I'm in love with the guitarists, and thr drummer's great too. I love the music more.| #14 Dec 02nd 2006, 10:13am

OneLastEndeavorMusic is nothing if the lead singer's crap. That's my taste, though. I realize it kinda sucks for the other band members but I do appreciate all they do. :).| #15 Dec 06th 2006, 8:58pm

Morte d'AmourThat's understandable. Respectful too that you at least appreciate all they do even though you don't particularly like a certain band. :)| #16 Dec 07th 2006, 4:12pm

OneLastEndeavorWell, of course. I've tried writing accompaniment to the vocals I write and it's hard. :(. Props for actually putting a song together.I do believe that all musicians deserve to be respected. With a few exceptions of course. Like Paris Hilton. | #17 Dec 07th 2006, 7:02pm

Morte d'AmourAbruptly speaking, I AGREE!! She's not even in the business for the music itself. She disgusts me to the deepest levels imaginable.| #18 Dec 07th 2006, 7:42pm

OneLastEndeavorUgh. If I was rich, I'd sue her for being stupid. And I'd make sure I'd win because I'll claim "mental distress" for her stupidity, which is partly true actually.| #19 Dec 12th 2006, 9:53pm

Morte d'AmourI'd definitely be there if I couldn't do that myself. :P| #20 Dec 13th 2006, 1:00pm
