NAME: Felhia

AGE: Around 40, but her race wear permanent anti-aging spells, so she looks around 20

RACE: Magicke (specifically sorceress)

LOOKS: Quite small and slim, with very wavy, red hair, which tumbles over her shoulders. Her eyes are big and brown, and her nose quite rounded. Has a slightly phsycotic smile, but can put on a more charming look.

WEAPONS: Normally uses magic, but can use a bow if it has a targeting spell. Actually, she is quite terrible with any human weapons

ALIGNMENT: Not the nicest lady in the world, but is still generally on the 'good' side- despite her personal intentions.

LIKES: Being in control. She also enjoys using her magic for practical purposes.

DISLIKES: Magicians generally. Personal vendetta. She also dislikes people challenging her authority.

HISTORY: For about ten years she worked at the palace, as one of the Magickes who used their magic to aid the kingdom of Laurm. For seven years the Magickes have been banished (because some selfish Magicke put a curse on the prince), and during this this time she has been trying to find a way to get rid of the spell on the prince Apharian, and thus allow the Magickes back into the kingdom. She misses her old job, nice food and warm water.

Although she never speaks of it, she was once engaged to a Magician.

PERSONALITY: The most important thing to remember about Magickes is that they are not human. Also, the more powerful the Magicke, the less human their emotions are. Witches, for example, are quite considerate, and have a slightly less morbid sense of humour than, say, Sorceresses. Felhia is not a nice lady. She's a fairly good actress, and too good a liar, but she's selfish, and more than a little spoilt. So it certainly didn't suit her when she was thrown out into the snowy outskirts of Laurm. However, if you're kind to her, she'll be civil towards you.

I find it interesting that she has brown eyes and red hair. Most redheads have green eyes. Is this a characteristic of her race?

You said she dislikes magicians…yet she is a sorceress. Could you elaborate on the differences between the two? And the caste system hinted at when you mentioned magickes and emotions?

Not particuarly a characteristic, I know quite a few redheads with various eye colour.

There are different kinds of Magickes, and they vary. (Although, Sorcerers and Sorceresses are just m/f of the same thing.)

The variations are mostly how powerful they are, but also where there strengths are, and how they use magic. Necromancers, for example, focus on death, while Witches are better at practical spells such as levitating or locking things, and Magicians deal with much more difficult things, such as altering somebody's memory.

The emotions thing is mostly because a lower power Magicke, such as a Witch, would have an easier time in fitting in with humans. All Magickes have different morels to humans, and are much more focused on themselves. But if you spend a lot of time with someone, their personality will have an effect on you. This is a key point to the story Felhia is in.

She dislikes Magicians because of a personal vendetta.
