"Can I keep him daddy?" Merrick asked, petting Tom with one hand while eating with the other.

"Nah, he's someone else's. I'll find you a pet once we're done here." Amryo replied to his son.

Sighing in bliss as the boy scratched a particulary itchy spot, Tom replied lazily -There are a few kittens around here. Boy like this is wasted on a dog, but there are a few of those around here too. OH. And I hear the Dark Magic merchant down the street got his hands on a Unicorn filly and a clutch of dragon eggs.-

-Oh, yeah. They're the ones that usually buy up the dragon eggs whenever a clutch comes in. I imagine the coven of dark witches outside of town will be here once word reaches them of the unicorn. My sister said they came in this morning with a shipment of wolfsbane, monkeypaws and shrunken heads.- He blinked lazily. -I wish someone would buy up that wendigo. I'm sick of it trying to eat us.-

"I'm Amryo. This is-" Amryo replied.

"Merrick!" The boy interjected with a grin before continuing to eat.

Kali smiled, "Well nice to meet you both."

"Might I ask what you're doing here in the citadel. A bit different to see another dark elf around here." Amryo inquired as he continued eating.

Kali chewed methodically on another bite of stew. "I've been in the area for going on a month now." She told him after she'd swallowed, "And I'm actually looking for an old friend of my late mother's. I was told she lives nearby."

"You too." He said, then added, "Oh really? Do you know her name?"

Kali thought for a long moment, "Krisanti." She said at last, "Something Krisanti. Oh, but I can't remember the first name....it started with A." She shook her head and sighed, looking at Amryo apologetically, "I can't seem to remember."

Amryo chuckled as Kali answered the question. "Analia Krisanti. My mother." He stated with a smile.

-No kidding.- Amryo replied to Tom.

"None at all. I used to be her youngest child, but just a few days ago a baby sister was born." Amryo commented to Kali with a smile.

"She's nice. Can she come home with us?" Merrick asked, gesturing to Kali.

"Well, that would be totally up to her... But, I have no problem with that."

Kali smiled, "Well congratulations to you!"

She looked over at Merrick, "I'd love to come home with you two, if you'll have me. I'd really like to see Mother's friend again."

Merrick grinned cheerfully and continued petting Tom. -Do you want to come too?- He asked the cat, but sending the thought for Kali and Amryo to hear as well.

Kali downed the last of her stew and stood up, smiling at Amryo and Merrick, "You two ready?"

"I am." Merrick cheerfully proclaimed as he stood up, holding Tom.

Amryo stood up as well and smiled to them.

"Let's go then." He stated as he put his hand on Merrick's shoulder, leading them out.
