Arty was still asleep.

Madison drifted off to sleep a short time later.

He's still asleep, now sprawled across the bed.

Madison might actually sleep through the night this time.

Arty's sleep was a dreamless one, sure to heal him quickly.

In the morning, she woke up and chose a black skirt and a lacy white top before heading out to the living room.

Arty was sitting on the couch, wearing his usual black outfit. He glanced up at her and grinned. "You look nice today."

She smiled. "Thank you. So do you."

He chuckled quietly. "It's just my normal outfit."

"You still look nice in it," she commented as she sat down next to him.

"Thank you." He paused, leaning back against the couch. "How did you sleep?"

She looked over at him. "I slept fairly well, better than I have in some time. At least I didn't have any nightmares."

He grinned at her again. "That's good to hear."

She smiled. "What about you?" she asked. "You looked really tired yesterday."

"I'm much better, thank you."

"Good, I'm glad to hear that."

Arty grinned, then yawned and stretched.

"What would you like to do today?"

He shrugged. "Whatever you want to do is fine with me."

"I asked you first," she said. "I really don't care what we do."

"We could go sightseeing?"

She smiled. "We could. That sounds fun. I don't think either of us knows much about this city."

Arty grinned back at her. "True."

"Well, then I'm ready whenever you are."

Arty stood up, stretching a little more. "Then let's go."

Madison stood up and smiled. "Great, so we're just going to wander around then?"

He smiled as well, nodding. "Yes."

"Then let's go," she said, heading towards the door.

Arty followed, grinning at Madison.

She reached out and took his hand as they left their house.
