Honestly, I don't want to seem harsh, but I think you have a ways to go before you can get published.

Would you like some constructive critique?

Hey,

I'm just wondering... but can you get anything published as a teenager? Because I'm just starting this story, and I'm 13. When I've finished the novel and if its good enough to gte published would my age be a problem?

Because I've never heard of young authors...?

I really want to know because being an author is a real goal for me. (and you seem to kinda know what your doing)

There have been teen writers who have gotten their works published. The author of The Sword Bird or something like that (I forget the name. I never read it before, but...) was only 14 or something when she got it published. And Christopher Paloini (sp?) was only 16 i think when Eragon was published. It does happen.

I'm hoping the same for me with some of my works! *crosses fingers*

That's cool. I'm 14. I think my book is really good and I plan on trying to get it published soon, if really possible. *Prays Persistently* Sorta like a this year/next year type of thing, if that's possible, too. But i'll probably at least get the second book ready soon, after the first is finished. Maybe even before school starts. It's called Insomnia: Essence.

Check it out.
