 Miriam DoyleTopic: Elimination GameWell, I saw this game at work on fanfiction.net, but I don't know how it'll work here. Oh well. Basically, there is a list of objects (or whatever we decide on) which all have 10 points each. When each player posts, they have to add a point to one object (or whatever it is we choose) and take away one point. You are not allowed to take or add any more than one point. You must copy the changes into the next post. When an object reaches zero it is eliminated. The game ends when there is only one item left. Example: Inheritance Trilogy 10 Lord of the Rings 10 Harry Potter 10 Chronicles of Narnia 10 Gormenghast Trilogy 10 The Belgariad 10 Dragon Riders of Pern 10 Earthsea 10 Narnia +1 Belgariad -1 so the new scores will be: Inheritance Trilogy 10 Lord of the Rings 10 Harry Potter 10 Chronicles of Narnia 11 Gormenghast Trilogy 10 The Belgariad 9 Dragon Riders of Pern 10 Earthsea 10 Have fun! ;D

| Inarra Lake Inheritance Trilogy 6-1=5 Paolini is not as good as he thinks he is. His books are basically a derivative collection of the works of other fantasy authors slapped together in a moderately competent fashion. He's nothing special. Lord of the Rings 12+1=13 Tolkein created the most detailed world, complete with languages and ancestries, that I have seen to date, and although he had a tendency to ramble about them (I would too), he has still created one of the most epic stories of our age.
