Hm, this could develop into something fairly interesting (I read the other topic posted, and I liked the idea of a "Story of the day" that everyone would pamper. Assuming the number of members grows that is ^^)

Here's my info

Penname: Fractured Illusion

Gender: Female

Favorite Genres: Mystery (not the who-killed-who type), Philoshopical, The Human Mind

Favorite Story of your own: Of a World Without Wonder

You are here why again: To participate

Sorry for making up the genres a bit, but at least I was honest. As this forum is fairly new (thus making the absence of other people not at all shocking) how many members should be part of before the Story of the Day can come?

*curious*

Count me in for as long as I have the free time!

hmmm, how long till the Story of the Day? i'm not sure, possibly after at least 5 people join? i dunno, what do you think?

Fractured Illusion
Good idea, boss ^^; Until then, we just...chill?
#4 Jul 15th 2007, 10:49am
YourRedDoor
ha ha, guess so. i'm gonna go see if i can find some ppl who like this idea, then maybe we can get Story of the Day up faster. :) oh, and dude, thanks so much for joining, i was afraid no one would like the idea, i've not had luck with making forums before.

Good idea, From the Earthen Ground (FtEG)! Sounds cool, but I'm not sure if I'd be able to review the stories of everyone who joins ... especially since I'm awfully busy editing my complete story and working on my other five. And college in two months ... if you guys are patient enough, though, I might join!
#6 Jul 15th 2007, 7:54pm
Fractured Illusion
Ah! Serom you saw my pimping!

Well, about your worries I think that by extending the deadline it could help a lot. We'll just need to figure out *how* long once we're all filled in. (And if a tad too long; maybe we could have two stories in that bunch?)

*full of ideas*

All right, just as long as you guys are flexible enough to bear with me ... I barely got on this website when I was busy during high school! College is going to be a whole other nightmare!

I feel your pain. It's hard to find time when there is school, a problem most users share.

Does anyone know how we can pimp this place (so we'll gain members and try this place out)?

My friend, Whit5000, if I can get ahold of him ... I could talk him into joining!

Fractured Illusion
Awesome. I'll try to grab a hold of people too, though I am fairly new so I don't know too many. Worth a try though! Let's not give up! *marches off to make members grow*

YOu are here why again?: To review under-reviewed authors! *salutes*

I leave the other parts blank cuz I'm mysterious like that.

SO, is there a story of the *insert time period here*?

I actually wanted to join when I first saw it, but I was busy having to do a few things, like rewritting my profile, and a new story, etc...

Penname: concerto49 (wanted concerto, but might have been used - just in case, 4 and 9 are supposedly lucky numbers, though I haven't proven it)

Name: concerto (since you said vague)

Location: La La Land (I like saying that one)

Occupation: Student of the century

Favorite genres: doesn't exist - I like stories and how it's done, and not the genre.

Favorite story of my own: Would you like to find out for yourself?

Why am I here: I'm not. Sorry, I've been talking like that. I'm here to share feeling and experiences.

You are here why again: On recommendation, to review underreviewed writers (I know how much that sucks) and get some suggestions on my WIP.

So thanks, Fractured, for pointing me in this direction.

Heya. Welcome (Note I stopped saying hi, hi because I used it too much for a while - that's creativity)

I'll go take a look at awake now, that's if I can stay awake. It's cool here, perhaps you'd like to look at the other threads, e.g. we've mostly been in the one that says needs little help or something as we're trying to sort something out.

Anyhow enjoy. Though I shouldn't be the one saying it, but it'll do.

welcome Whit and summer, to the Revolution! so glad you guys have joined, like Fractured said, Story of the Week is up, and Concerto has already picked, so check that out. also, there's a new topic, "Our Members (a list)" where everyone is listed with when your turn is to pick Story of the Week, and what genre you'll have to pick from. any complaints can be voiced there.

Eh? I wonder. I'm someone that dares to say what I like, and guess that's how I'm able to review. I've seen many reviewers refrain to say some things about an author and hence the review gets vague and all. Anyhow, okay, I'll say hi again. Until then...

Hiya! I'm Blysse, or, as Fractured calls me, Blyssie. I'm the crazy one in the group. You'll find I mean that quite literally if you read any of my stories (which you will, in fact, do when it's my [coming up soon] turn at Story of the Week).

I think I speak for all of us when I say, Muffin! Er...I mean, welcome to the Review Revolution! It's great to see another member. Oh, and be sure to bribe/guilt/blackmail all of your friends into joining, too! Again, welcome and please enjoy your stay!

hi, hi. Ha, you sound like me - too many. Yeah, if I don't like a story, I wouldn't write it.

This does sound like fun. *Says hi to cat* Welcome and find yourself at home. Visit the other bits around. We've been chatting a bit too much.

#39 Jul 28th 2007, 3:13am

Actually Fractured calls you DB most of the time, referencing Dragon Ball. Goku anyone? (note this was my personal comment and does not involve Fractured. So if they are any confusions then keep being confused).

Eh? I don't know about blakmailing and all. We're meant to be the good lot. At least, don't say that in the open.

tabiscus
Awww, thanks for the welcome guys! *big foolish grin* i was already reading up on the other stuff...it's really great though that you guys are all serious about it and all, and if you're talking too much (which i dont think so, cause in my opinion i talk way too much anyway) then, oh well, at least it's on the subject. Er, I also messed up on my introduction-thingey. For favs I thought you meant for other stories...but, for my own it's Birds of a Feather. Silly me.
#41 Jul 28th 2007, 3:17am
concerto49
No worries. Yeah it's your own story. Though we do say a lot, and it does get off topic. That's why we had a random topic just for that. Yet, here I am doing it again. It's more like a habit.

I've seen someone turn an RP with their friends into a story, perhaps we could make use of this too. Enjoy.

God, I used to watch Dragon Ball when I was little. O.o But Blyssie's more fun than "DB." Though DB makes me feel like a secret agent...

AJ, Cat, LittleGirl! (LG?) Nice to meet you all, sorry I haven't said hi yet. I'm Kat or Freaky.
