Fractured IllusionTopic: The Random Topic Because us members are too comfortable with another, this topic had to be created in order to avoid mass destruction of good threads. So people, when you feel like saying off topic things, go here!I'll start; My stomach hurts, and I blame the tooth fairy. She don't taste no good. :/ | #1 Jul 27th 2007, 12:10am . concerto49What did the tooth fairy have to do with this? Now that was random. I thought were talking about stuff, but it didn't get that far.Anyhow, I'll join in if that's the way this is meant to be. I wish I was...I wish I was a wonder girl. Da. Da. Da da da daa. | #2 Jul 27th 2007, 12:50am

Fractured IllusionFeh, I just wished to get everyone in the mood! *frowns* And the tooth fairy has to do with everything. That greedy wench won't give me no money for the teeth I bust from old people :/And yes we can talk random normal conversations. Although as I see you made a sex change, should I address you differently now that you are a wondergirl? ^^ |
concerto49That was actually a part of a song lyric not many people have heard of (and the song isn't in English either except that line). |
Fractured IllusionThat was actually a part of a song lyricI kind of get that :P Hey, you got some good stories to recommend? Kind of bored over here. Quirky characters please. I am in the mood for them ^^ |
concerto49Yeah, I've got 2 older stories I haven't posted which was written some time ago, though perhaps not. I mean it's probably not as well written, though one has a really really interesting idea - it's my famous illusion/reality dealings."You know me, it just can't be." (another lyric) Well I only know 1 good story I've read, but you probably won't like it. I wasn't that fond of it after all. I've read around and everyone recommends Queen of Glass. It's got 6000 something reviews. |
Fractured IllusionWhoa. So many reviews?! :O That's a whole lot.No thanks ^^; It must be massive. Any easy one-shots? |
concerto49Not good ones. No clue. I don't like things that end too quickly. It's probably due to what's happened in life.Oh and since you said to bring it here, I've only started watching FMA after being recommended. It's alright. |
concerto49Oh no wait...Bang. Bang. Bang. Three shots. More than enough? |
Fractured IllusionBang. Bang. Bang. Three shots. More than enough?*rolls eyes* Ha. Ha. Funny. I have a recommendation for anyone interested in psychos who think they are normal; A Wink of Insanity Anyhow; FMA is so overrated because many has watched it. And that way, I already know some things. Plus I detest the character designs and such. Higurashi all the way.I love my mystery and homocidal weirdos. | #10 Jul 27th 2007, 1:32am
concerto49Yeah I know what you mean, but I don't care what people say. I want to find out about it myself before I comment and that was the point. Not that I've went crazy like people did for some things and just watched it in one day. I've started a while ago, and haven't even seen half.I'm more on FP actually :) | #11 Jul 27th 2007, 2:38am

YourRedDoori luv FMA, i wish there was more martial arts than alchemy, and it sounds way better in Japanese than in English (as it always does).i'm only on the 8th episode, but i just love Ed, Al is okay too.. does anyone here watch Naruto? =FtEG= | #12 Jul 27th 2007, 4:06pm
concerto49For FMA I'm currently on episode 25. Yeah there have always been reports that the English voice acting isn't as good. Ed is funny and serious. I like winry, but I guess you'll have to watch more to find out. It gets better and better.I've started watching Naruto, like 4 episodes. Been watching Gundam SEED too. Anyone on that? | #13 Jul 27th 2007, 4:19pm
Serom KimMy friends are big on Naruto and FMA. They cosplay as FMA and Naruto characters for Halloween or any other occasion they could think of, watch ahead, know about the characters' histories and what'll happen to them, etc. Big surprise that we're the anime club, huh? (is being sarcastic, but you can probably tell)| #14 Jul 27th 2007, 5:58pm
concerto49I don't know about that. I wasn't. I watched a lot of it at a young age, but then haven't for a long while until recently coming back to it. I'm catching up. Cosplay probably is cool. I've seen a lot of it though haven't done it myself.| #15 Jul 27th 2007, 6:00pm

Fractured IllusionCosplay is only cool when it looks good. For me, at least :PBut man, all you people watch the most overrated shows :/ Tip to the unwise; if you're going on the Naruto bandwagon, read the manga, because the anime has like 100 eps of FILLER (filler is pointless junk, unless you didn't know). So yeah... Is there seriously no one watching Higurashi no naku koro ni? It's freaking awesome! The mystery will eat you alive O.O | #16 Jul 28th 2007, 12:11am
concerto49Sorry. As to manga, anyone seen Negima? That's way cool.I haven't got to Naruto. Many people said that's bad as well. It goes on for ages about nothing. And there's no real story to it either. Nah, haven't seen that. | #17 Jul 28th 2007, 12:28am
Fractured IllusionNaruto is the epitome of cliche. The three maincharacters are the biggest stereotypes possible; and yes, it really drags. I don't hold a high opinion of it, as you might hear... The story and *everything* is really lacking to me... | #18 Jul 28th 2007, 12:34am
concerto49Yes, that's why I've stopped at episode 4 was it? It's on hold for as long as I don't know.Same goes for pokemon (apparently one of the longest) - quite lacking in storyline. Dragon Ball series as well. | #19 Jul 28th 2007, 12:38am
Fractured Illusion*wonders why the most popular things are always crap, in the end* Hmm... :/ Though Death Note was actually pretty good, and is popular. Ok, so not *all* sucks | #20 Jul 28th 2007, 12:52am
concerto49Well as far as I've watched up to FMA is alright, but apparently it gets worse later, like towards the end.Yeah, a lot of people said Death Note was good. A lot of popular things are good. A lot aren't. It's probably the same here in FP. I think it's that a large number of people don't really care. Like they just see some cool stuff in something and tend to stick to it. They don't understand a good plot and all either. I know a lot of people will disagree here, but I said a large number there, so you could be an expection. Like a lot of stories that have a lot of reviews here aren't that good. I don't mean there aren't good stories either. It also depends on target audience. Many kids just like those cool stuff, and they don't need complicated storylines. There's also the difference between a lot of viewers (high ratings) and award winning stuff, which is often two different lines. | #21 Jul 28th 2007, 12:59am

DarkBlysseOh, do I have a oneshot for you! I was going to suggest it for Story of the Week (okay, I'm seriously getting tired of typing that out, so as of now it's officially SotW!) but I changed my mind in favor of another.http://www.fictionpress.com/s/2361686/1/ It really and truly is priceless. | #22 Jul 28th 2007, 3:40am
concerto49Ha. You should save the suspense for later. I think SOW sounds better - it's more pronounce-able too.Eh, well you can never buy creativity if you ask me. Thanks anyway. | #23 Jul 28th 2007, 3:42am
DarkBlysseFMA!!!!! I love that anime! Lol, my boyfriend looks like a giant ED. I even braided his hair once. Lol.| #24 Jul 28th 2007, 3:42am
DarkBlysseSuspense? Nah, it's the one I didn't pick. Y'know, I kinda wish we could just pick an author and review-rape anything on their page...'cause I know who I'd pick, hands down. And most of their stuff is in the humor genre, too, so it'd still work out!| #25 Jul 28th 2007, 4:22am

concerto49Yeah okay. By the way - I thought sci-fi was a big thing too, but looks like fantasy is huge compared to it. There's only a few C2s on it and it seems they are mostly dead. The forums aren't that much either. I wonder why.Just raising the point perhaps because I decided to do a sci-fi over fantasy, and oh it's all the genre's fault now. Maybe there were more 'me's out there that had once thought everything is fantasy. It doesn't matter. So just shove it there. | #26 Jul 28th 2007, 4:25am

Fractured IllusionYay, I shall check the story out! :DOk, I just have to complain. I bought a pizza for almost 6 freaking bucks (so much money I know -.-) and what do I get? A pizza? NOOO! I get a bunch of FAT on my plate, with some pizza to cover it!! Seriously, it was so insanely much it was dripping. The pizza did not taste anything. Oh no! Heaven forbid, right? I could only taste the fat... Ugh... *traumatized* :/ | #27 Jul 28th 2007, 8:51am
Fractured IllusionSpeaking of sci-fi.. Yeah, it is immensely underrated, which is quite shocking. It's pretty popular otherwise. Might it be that more females are on this site, and females tend to prefer fantasy and romace over sci-fi?Just a thought.. | #28 Jul 28th 2007, 8:54am
tabiscusPsh YOU think YOU have problemos with pizza? WELL, here the pizzas are RECTANGULAR (I mean, honestly now!)! They taste weird, too, and are flat. Absolutely flat. And then you go down to France and THEIR pizzas have weird goat cheese on them. Honestly now. They're so goat cheesy that every time I take a bite I feel like I'm suffocating on goat cheese. That's for Alsace at least, since I'm a little suspicious to try the pizzas in Paris. I mean, they put little american flags on their cheeseburgers. Honestly now. The whole thing is just traumitising.| #29 Jul 28th 2007, 11:33am . Edited Jul 28th 2007, 11:34am

Fractured IllusionOooh, I feel your pain!I went to a country that shall remain nameless just know it was in Asia, and both their pizza and burgers were weird :/ Entirely different flavors and constructions... I still feel sick from that pizza today though :/ At least I got myself some new clothes! (yay for shopping!) Goat cheese though? Pst! The French could never do ANYTHING right to begin with. this comes as no surprise that they destroy the art of pizza either :P | #30 Jul 28th 2007, 11:43am

DarkBlysseEewww...I work at at Panago and we use goat cheese sometimes, and it's sooo gross. I hate it. And ugh, we have anchovies and smokes oysters, too. *Spukes*| #31 Jul 28th 2007, 11:44am

DarkBlyssePsh, you'da've found out about mah craziness within a few weeks once it was my turn to be reviewed. But, I will spare you the wait and the time you might spend on my profile sifting through all of my crazy writing. Hello, my name is Blyssie, and I'm obsessive-compulsive. It's kinda like....not being in control at all. Your brain runs you, but not in the good way, like it should. It's as if it got a really big-** ego, and decided to mutiny against me. For more about OCD, please wait until it's my turn to be reviewed and check out "Brittany's Curse" and/or "Fractured Fairytale." So, yeah. Clinically diagnosed, it's not severe (used to be), and I've been in group therapy with other teens. Any questions, just ask. ^_^ | #32 Jul 28th 2007, 11:51am

Fractured Illusion*smacks Ark*No, no no! Don't tell people to check out those stories when it's your week! Then you should focus on Incarnate! Tell them to check it out NOW!! *evil smile* And avoid the spam, for crying out loud! It is only good in cyber form!! :P | #35 Jul 28th 2007, 11:53am
DarkBlysseOMG! Cyber-spam? Why, of course! How could I have been so ignorant. And I'ma let the members review whatever they want--I don't want them to suffer through 'Incarnate's' 30,000 words if they don't want to. Though I do want all of the reviews on there, I can't exactly make people read that one, now can I? | #36 Jul 28th 2007, 11:57am
Fractured IllusionIndeed, Cyber-spam is our gift from the Internet Lords! They are kind, are they not?And poor Arky, thinking she does not have enough power to brainwash people into reading Incarnate. Ack, what a sad soul | #37 Jul 28th 2007, 12:02pm
tabiscusSpuke? I like that one. I have a dictionary, too, of just made-up words. For the times I'm very veeery hyper and bored. So, OCD, right? My only issues is just seeing stuff uneven (which is why i'm so good at mowing the lawn, lol) and doing the occasional check-under-the-bed-thing. And closet. Heh heh; i look forward to reading and figuring all about your crazyness and OCD-ness. And 30,000 words, huh? Lotsa time to read that one, then.| #38 Jul 28th 2007, 12:02pm
