Alright since you asked here goes.

Reviews Found - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/reviewers_found

It's a group mainly based on young fiction press writers. You can post up stories you want people to look at etc, and there are discussions about stuff and all. The main point here is you will be placed in a group, and within that group, you rotate around to review each other (each person gets 10 days and has to make 3 reviews - proper - they have some rules, but not exactly). Once the whole group is done with each other, you switch groups and the moderator and all makes a new list and assigns new groups. The cycle goes on - it is a reviewer system like in RR here - just more people, and all.

Young Writers 101 - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/youngwriters101

This group is huge. Mainly writers that can get to know each other and help each other out. Another FP based community. The rules here is you most post 1 message per week (at least) - like either about your story or anything else. I think the only rule is - if someone posts up a message with their story, and summary, and asks for help, unless you don't like the genre and topic - you have to give your constructive opinion on it. And so other people will do so for you as well.

That's the two I've just joined so far. It's still going and has members - like quite a bit too. So if you want help, want to meet others, and help others you could join. Cheers. Frac told me to put it up - so not advertising for them. I don't get paid really. Unless you want to pay me (i.e. in reviews) for telling you about it. Joking.

Glad to see it was good for ya, Daphne! ^^

Anyhow, everyone, ATTENTION!

I have created a review game here, that allows you to get reviews (even non-members of Review Revolution are allowed to join as we will soon pretty much review each other do death :/ )

A review is pretty much guaranteed as long as the game it kept alive! With our growing member status, I think we can achieve this! So, come on everyone, do join The Game! :D If you think the rules are too complex, ask me to stop being such a high and mighty dictator and tell me to simplyfy.

Just join it! JOIN AND GET THEM REVIEWS! :D

And also, there is a new way to get reviews, but you compete for the reviews! It's called The Review Marathon .

That sounds like good advice to me. I've only got one review so far despite the views that my story has. I need to know if there is anything that I need to look at before I continue writing chapters. I did not know about the C2 thing. I'll have to look into that. In the mean time, I'm going to work on my summary. Thanks!

What you said about slow beginnings, I have also learned, is very true. Some writers find it essential that their readers see exactly what they see but in my stories I like to let the readers mind wander. I like to let them see what they want to see so that way it will appeal to them more-so than if I shove my own personal dream guy down their throats. Then, once they're interested in your story they will read more and the more they read about a particular character the more they will see that character the same way you see that character. So it all works out in the end :))

Sorry if that was confusing, by the way. But that's just my two cents.
