I have a question!

Are you going to write anything else besides Nocte or is it going to spawn ten books? ^^

Nocte will not spawn ten books... maybe several, but not ten.

I am thinking about writing other books, but those ideas are stand-alone instead of a series.

The thing is, it's hard for me to write anything except for Nocte. I think I will write something else after Nocte.

Readers have noticed that in between the second and third books, Nocte had become very powerful. I suppose I was getting ahead of myself cause never in my mind was Nocte ever "weak," she was merely... lazy. Because in the third book she was depressed, mad and filled with angst, she was more serious in casting her spells.

The first part of the third book I honestly concentrated on how she grew up, how she wasn't as weak as everyone thought. She wasn't born wanting to be good, it took time and self-realization. In fact, she was raised the same way as Gash and Ebony, taught advanced Spells and how to wield a bazooka. She was raised a Yin, and I always had that in my mind.

I had hoped that by making Nocte read all those advanced books in the second Nocte would help with the transition. And that she was able to summon a Hell Dragon would be a sign of how powerful she really was. The authority she exuded in front of her siblings - I had hoped that would be another sign.

I'm honestly sorry if you thought that it was confusing. I'm just glad you guys went along with it.

Personally I don't believe the existence of good or evil, simply opinion. The first time I read Nocte I was skeptical that it would be my type of story but then it just turned out to be lovable anyways.

I think Nocte's character improves generally over time. In the first book she kept being tossed around by the Evil Academy and in the second book she managed to fight back. In the third she was all depressed but in cold rage managed to up her magic and fuel her sorrows into her skills. Now in the fourth she's just caught between so many HARD TO REMEMBER war issues and she still manages to like cake and back sass the satyrical Bloodstones and all that stupid stereotypical bull crap that's chucked at her for being a Yin.

Yes, I love this series. When you become famous, remember that cousin that worships you down here in Scarborough.
