So, I'm writing a story--or actually, the first eleven chapters were written but I'm doing a huge rewrite--on faeries. In the previous version many people told me it was reminiscent of Melissa Marr's Wicked Lovely. It's the whole, king needs queen who is a human girl thing. I was wondering if anyone could give me tips on setting it apart. I'd really appreciate advice on it.
