SamanthaNicoleTopic: Kane vs. Sebastian For those loyal readers, I was wondering what's running through your minds in terms of who you think Fiona will end up with. Neither Kane nor Sebastian is exactly the good guy, so it's eventually up to fate. Best guesses? |
|
Faith AdelineI think she'll end up with Kane, simply cause he hasn't tried to eat her yet, and he's sorta nice. Seb, he's just a jerk aha. Forcing her to be his food. I wouldn't go with him haha. |
|
SamanthaNicoleYes, but Sebastian CAN be nice. He generally is, minus what happened in chapter seven. So really, it's hard to say, isn't it?Granted, I know how it ends, so who am I to be offering insight?! |
|
Faith AdelineI think he's only being nice because of like, her having to give him blood and such. I would want him to be polite also! I don't know. . . I just have a preference for Kane I suppose! |

SayaeI have a preference for Kane too, simply because he is more mysterious, CAN control his temper, and they simply seem to have more chemistry. Sebastian, though more of a charmer than Kane, is not the right material for a person with which you can share your life. Plus Kane is closer to the current state of Fiona (can stay in the sunlight, eat human food). In the short run he would be the best choice seeing as Fiona deserves a normal life. Short because she would die before him if she is still a human before the story is over. Sebastian can't give her that and even if she is turned by him, in order to live together forever, she would still be free to resent him, since she never liked him in the first place. Boy, do I over-analyze stuff... | #5 Sep 08th 2007, 12:05pm

Jelly Wombat(I'm going to review when I get around to it. ;) )During the first three or four chapters I was all set to watch Fiona get together with Seb, but it didn't quite click(as far as the structure of the story), because he didn't seem to be a major focus, and the story started with him already a major part of her life. With Kane in the story now, I definitely feel that it's going in his direction. At this point, I don't really think Sebastian loves Fiona anyway. I suspect he thinks he does, but it seems he's really just more in love with the idea of her(he likes a challenge). I don't think he's evil, either - he just has some serious issues with controlling his temper, and knowing how to express his affections toward her. No matter how bad he is at it, though, I'm guessing he'll be all full of apologies next time he sees her. Which will be very fun to see. |

SamanthaNicoleTrue. Fiona's love triangle (or square, if you include Gillan) is complicated in that none (or one) of the men are human. One is a vampire she's already promised to, and the other is a vampire who's come into the picture and isn't quite sure why he feels the way he feels. It's complicated, and I love, love, LOVE writing the three of them. Gillan's fun too, just because he's so hopeless :-) I've got a lot of stuff outlined for later chapters that deals with some face-to-face arguments between Kane and Sebastian, which should be very interesting. |

Jelly WombatFiona's love triangle (or square, if you include Gillan)Lol. But who includes him? ;) Ooh, you're leaking spoilers! Good thing I stopped by the forums. I hope with you logging in and all, this also means we'll get new chapters soon! Oh, and another thing: I was thinking, "Well if it's between Kane and Sebastian, she would end up turned for any lasting relationship to work. So then Kane would be better, because she'd be a 'vampire with benefits'." But really, if Kane's kind turn someone, do they turn into a 'Born' vampire or just the normal kind? Or can Kane not turn people at all? Does anyone that gets a bit of Kane's venom automatically die anyway? (I'm guessing there, because everyone says Born ones are deadlier, and it seems only half-plausible that Kane would kill every single one of his victims if it wasn't necessary.) You don't have to answer, if I'm crossing over into Spoiler Territory. I'm just wondering aloud. Hopefully these things will be addressed in the story? (And I just realized I used 'bit' - not as a verb, but still, I'll say this now as a precaution: no pun intended. ^^; ) |

SamanthaNicoleTrue enough, haha. I don't really include Gillan either, but he's fun to play with, anyway. And I'm not going to tell you if Fiona is turned or not. First of all, that would be giving away the ending! And secondly, because I don't even know yet. I really hate outlines, but I've done a few for upcoming chapters. I've got a bunch of ideas for the ending, so those are all outlined, too. So really, it could go either way. She could live, she could die, she could be turned - it's all up in the air as of right now! |
|
Jelly WombatAh, fair enough, keeping up the suspense. I do hope she gets turned though, because otherwise her chances of a relationship with either one of her admirers will be pretty much screwed over.Even staying human will be better than killing her, though. You'd better not kill her. ;) | #10 Sep 14th 2007, 6:53pm

angels and effectsI know the story was finished like a really long time ago, but srsly, Kane FTW. Seb = creepy. Dah end. Red eyes, anyone? (He should be a picture, then you can scan him through Microsoft Picture Manager and 'Remove Red Eye'... omglame.) Green eyes pwn red anyday. It's so superficial of me, I know *cries* But, yeah... even from the start, it was pretty obvious Seb was inanely obsessed with Fiona, which completely turned me off. Somehow, it eclipses Kane being a killer.Who knows why, it's a complete mystery to me too. HAHA ECLIPSE. I fail. |
