Darkness VisibleTopic: stupid technical question, but not that technical Is there any way, when posting a story or poem, to get colored text? I'm writing a poem where I put in some colored words to emphasize some color symbolism I'm using to give readers hints about the theme of the poem, but when I did a test, the color disappeared when I uploaded it. The poem will be okay without the color, of course...but it'll be much better with it there. Any help would be much appreciated. |

Sakka-FenikkusuNope. Sorry, but you can't. I've tried. If I find a way, I'll let you know, but I doubt I'll be able to. Color symbolism in poetry? Sounds awesome.| #2 Oct 17th 2006, 10:21pm

Kumquat21I don't think you can do color, but perhaps you could italicizeor underline the words to show their meaning. |

Darkness VisibleThanks to both of you. I'll probably do something like that, although I'm not sure what, since the colors themselves are just as important as the fact that the words are colored. *sigh* Oh well, I'll figure something or other out. Thanks again. |

BloodflowerI don't like the way you can't use colour or spacing in poetry on this site...good luck with working your emphasis in!| #5 Oct 19th 2006, 12:55am

Kumquat21Well, here's another one.How do you add people to moderate your forums? I was looking at some today and realized you could do that. No, I didn't know before now. ^///^ (that was blush, if you were wondering.) So could someone please tell me? |
