HalfbloodlycanTopic: Story 1: Into The Night It was quiet and the moon shone through the clouds. The girl stepped out of her car and a click could be heard as she pressed the lock button on her keychain. Her skirt caught on the wind and was wrapped tightly around her legs so when she took a step forward she almost lost her balance. |

Nirvanic PanicIt was winter, and snow began to fall. The scattered pockets of soft falling ice was not thick--it was a light snow shower--the kind one hopes to get during Christmas. But it was not Christmas and no one was there to wish the lonely girl a merry one. Not her dead parents, not her good-for-nothing friends, not even her german shepherd. Especially not the shadowed figure that now stood in front of her. |

The FiveShe looked up into the taller figure's face. She kept her eyes on him, for it appeared to be a man, made her way past him slowly. She didn't turn back to watch him as she made a mad dash to the building she had parked across from. Footsteps sounded behind her. He was following her. | #3 Apr 28th, 4:10pm . Nirvanic PanicHer worn shoes made muffled groans on the snow-covered sidewalk as she desperately clambered for the wide door ahead of her. The man, too, had burst into a sprint, intent on catching up to the now panicking girl. The girl in question had already shoved the doors open, adrenaline rapidly streaming through her slim body. The urge to cry--no, to scream--blossomed in her mind. But the words froze in her mouth and fell out, plummeting towards the floor, like the ice outside. Besides, who, in the apartment building, would hear her? Would would care? Who, she kept asking herself, would save her? |

HalfbloodlycanHer mad scramble led her to a choice between a fight of stairs and an elevator. Would it matter? All she had to do was find a place to hide until this guy, whoever he was, gave up and left. She chose the stairs and began sprinting to reach the first floor. She passed it and aimed higher, for the second floor and went through that door. She took a chance and glanced behind her. No one for the moment. She found a corner hidden from the view of the staircase and crouched down to catch her breath. |
