"An anthro huh?" Celene looked from Logan to Kayiel, than nodded. "That's awesome, I've seen never an anthro before." She turned back to the newcomer, "What's your name?" She asked, politely.

Logan blushed even harder to be asked a question from the beautiful woman and hoped that it didn't show up that well against his fur as he grinned and replied, "The name's Logan Uru, but please just Logan. And if you all don't mind, who are you guys?"

Kayiel chuckled at Logan's reaction. "Well, like I said, my name's Kayiel Storm. Nice to meet you." He outstretched his hand towards Logan.

Max just nodded at Logan, sitting down and bringing his knees up to his chest. "I'm Maximum. Max for short," he told the wolf, before once again staring at his knees.

Logan shook his head at his mistake...of course the rabbit had already told him his name, he just hadn't been listening. He grinned and took Kayiel's extended hand and warmly shook it saying, "Well Kayiel, it is nice to meet you."

"I'm Celene." She told him. Celene looked at Max, who had said a few words and returned his attention back to his knees. "Are you sure you're okay, Max?"

He glanced over at her and nodded. "I'm sure."

"So Logan," Kayiel began, looking over at the buttons on the side of the pod. "You got any idea on how to start this thing so we don't have to spend the night in some cramped up pod?"

Still grinning, Logan nodded at Max in acknowledgement before glancing at the mysterious and stunningly beautful girl that was still minding her own buisness. He wondered who she was but didn't want to press the situation and offend her. Out of the corner of his eye he looked over Kayiel, again marvelling over how much he looked like Timmy.

With nothing else to do, Logan got back to his feet looking up at the ceiling of the portal tube and asking almost to himself, "So how much longer until this thing decides to move?"

"I'm going to try." Celene stuck her bottom lip out slightly as she got up and headed for the close button on the panel beside the door. She pushed it once. Nothing. She pushed it again and held it for a while. Something started to whir but when she let go, it stopped.

"Ah. Strange."

Max glanced over at the wall of the tube, thinking hard.

Logan blinked and looked at Kayiel for a second before he shook his head, remembering something that Timmy once told him. He moved over to the buttons on the side of the pod and examined them as he slowly replied, "Well to tell you the truth I have no idea how to get this thing started"

He pushed one of the buttons and then quickly punched the control pannel. For a second nothing happened and then the door slid shut and the tube reved to life. He turned back to Max and Kayiel with a grin as he finished, "But I was told by an old friend that the simple way to get anything electronic working again is to just give it a good smack."

At that comment, Max just raised an eyebrow at Logan.

"Great! It's working now." Celene went back to her seat and sat down. She shifted her body to look out the window, watching as the gray walls disappeared and a beach came into view. "Wow.."

"Hooray!" Kayiel exclaimed, going up to give Logan a high-five. "Now we'll be able to get to our rooms before it gets too late!"

Max turned to look out the window again, a small smile spreading across his face.

"It's so pretty!" Celene commented as they rose higher. "I can't wait to get down there."

Max nodded, still watching the outside.

After 15 minutes of flying past the landscape that led to the beach, the pod in the Portal Tubes came to a stop at the beautiful Hotel Elear, located on the Beach-Side of the Paradise Resort. The door to the pod opened to reveal an elegant lobby, filled with leather couches and sparkling chandeliers. There was a door to the left of the lobby that was a window out to the sunny beach outside of the resort and two elevators on the far ends of the room.

Kayiel made his way out of the pod and held the door open for the rest of the guests. "Well everyone, I believe this is where the vacation really starts." he said cheerfully, watching the others get out of their seats.

As the doors to the portal tube slid open again, the heat rolled in and hit Logan full blast. As quickly as he could without seeming rude, he grinned at the others and then left the tube, already wondering if it had been a good idea to just get into a random pod back in the hotel proper.

It wasn't like it was opresively hot as he walked, just heat in general didn't sit well with him. He perfered the cold and the quiet, niether of which he was sure to find here. The path leading to the hotel rooms was crowded with people all with smiles and happy voices, when all Logan wanted at the moment was peace and quiet so that he could get his mind off Timmy and Kayiel.

Moving away from the path Logan headed for the beach, hoping to steal some alone time while everyone else returned to their rooms in preparation for the coming night.

(To the Beach Front)

Kayiel watched as he saw the black furred wolf run pass him and out towards the beach. He knew that he had been pretty shy about talking to the other guests, unlike him who immediately went up to to the first one to introduce themselves. Celene and Max both moved out of the pod and into the lobby, as to allow the pod to go back to the central station for the Portal Tubes. Making sure that the pod closed and made it's way back to the central station, Kayiel decided to go and follow Logan out to the Beach Side.

Celene raised a brow at both Logan and Kayiel's rather...strange behavior. Ah. Well. She shrugged it off as an 'antro thing'. She turned to Max and smiled, "Okay than. I guess I'll see you around. Nice meeting you."

[[Ah...I gotta make a room.]]

Max, on the other hand, moved to his room, ready to unpack his things.

She frowned. Well, that was cold. Oh, whatever. Celene turned and headed off, in search of her room. After searching and failing hopelessly, the lull of the beach was too much. Celene sighed, "Well, a little drop-by can't be too bad, right?" With that thought in mind, she headed off to the beach.

Dylan got to the Portal Tubes and typed in the code. He loved this place so far. Everything just amazed him. In couple seconds passed and he was at the Beach Resort.

Arella looked around with an emotionless face as she stood infront of the Portal Tubes. So, she was suppose to punch in the numbers. She looked down at the number pad and quickly typed in the code. The doors swung open and she stepped in and felt the thing shoot up. Before long, she found herself at the beach-side.

Kayiel pressed the button once to the Portal Tubes and jumped inside. Looking back at the door, Logan slipped in before the door shut and then leaned against the wall, panting heavily.

"I've had it man, tell me what is so important in that suitcase of yours that it has you acting like an idiot?" Logan asked irritated at Kayiel's actions. Kayiel thought for a few seconds before responding.

"Clothes, books, my journal, towel, toothbrush, swim trunks..." Kayiel listed off, getting an eye-roll from Logan as the Portal Tube moved to the central desk. "And some other things."

Logan listened to Kayiel list off the items in his suitcase with his irritation mounting, Logan normally wasn't agitated this easily. But dealing with a lack of sleep and the fact that he had ran after Kayiel without his sword made Logan feel a tad vulnerable being out in the open. Especially when Logan didn't have a single clue as to what he was chasing after.

As the list went on, Logan closed his eyes to fight the urge to punch Kayiel, and mentally counted to ten. They would find the suitcase, and this whole business would be over with.

His ears perked up as Kayiel finished his list by nonchalantly adding, "And some other things."

The portal tube began its' final appraoch toward the central desk and Logan straightened as he opened his eyes and quietly asked, "What other things?"

"Well... there's this one thing... it's kind of irreplaceable." Kayiel said softly. "I brought it with me from the university."

Kayiel looked out towards the snow-capped peaks of the Ski Resort with a longingly look in his eyes. The door dinged and Kayiel quickly turned around to head out the door.
