I know I probably won't get the freebie for just commenting on the song, but I'm too annoyed with what happened to sit and type everything out again, SO, it was alright, not my type because I'm more into the indie rock sort of stuff. I like magic though, but I found it a bit cliche that a woman was compared to a witch and was sucking all the joy out of the guy's life and being a "black magician". *shrug*

Perhaps I will try a different, shorter song, haha.

Critique of White Lightening without writing out the lyrics because I can't do it in the span of 1 HOUR THAT IT TAKES for my computer to work *headdesk*: It was okay, I liked it better than Black Magician, but again, not my type exactly. The lyrics, from what I was hearing, and the chorus, where ones that I liked better than Black Magician. The singer has an alright voice too, don't remember if I commented on that last time. I don't know much about the guitars and that sort of thing, but I liked the inclusion of guitar solo-ish playing (that was kind of nice about Black Magician too), you really don't hear any "rock" music anymore that will give time to display the skills of the guitar and bass and drum players.

So yeah. Sorry for failing a second time, BUT that's whut I have to say ^^

Ahaha, that is the best I can do. And I'm partly deaf because I already listen to my music too loud. As for the song, well, you already know what I think but I'll just repeat. I think it's great. It's got this kind of almost 70s-80s rock feel to it. It's not slow but not fast, but the perfect pace to sing along to (if you know the lyrics, ahahaha). I really like the voice of your lead singer. He reminds me so much of the lead from Cage the Elephant. But I do think he should get into it more. Feeeeeeeeeel the music, man. Since there is no video, we have no visual cues to let us know he's indeed into it so he has to put it in his voice. I think he coulda done a better job on that. But other than that, some interesting lyrics. A kind of "I can kill you and I know it" vibe to the whole thing and it's like the narrator is taunting the whole time, dangling the person's life in front of them and going "Hm, should I or shouldn't I?" And that guitar solo was sexy. Very sexy.

Ahaha, and I'm sorry I most probably butchered the lyrics.
