Aha, I made writing this Chemistry project enjoyable. It was a eulogy, so it didn't have to be the typical stale-fare. Instead, it's a roasted pig, and I chugged a barrel of apples down its throat, with the apples being metaphors. I quite liked the 'dearest friend's' voice as well.

Ah, **. I forgot about the other Chemistry assignment...

So I joined some other writing site and ... yeah... why the ** do "seasoned" members feel the need to ask the dumbest **. I can handle criticism and ** ... but goddamn. One Example:

sentence: I could see flashing blue lights through cracks in the blinds.

response: Fairly weak for a first sentence. This would be much more vivid if you showed us this rather than just tell us your protaganist sees it."

How the ** do you show that. any other way it's worded it's going to sound like "telling rather than showing". Like **... UHhhhhh Flashing blue lights shown through the cracks in the blinds. Dude that still sounds like telling.

Another Example:

sentences: I wasn't sure what tipped them off. Was it the arguing?That never happened before.

response: What never happened before? Arguing?

Well, chief, I have no idea. It's a goddamned mystery. What could have happened... that never happened before?.... hmmm... maybe... just maybe the clue is in the sentence before it. But I can't be sure... we're going to have to call Scooby and the gang to help figure this brain rattler out...

How do they get by reading books if that ** stumps them. Yeah, I admit. They're ** sentences... but **. No wonder noobs don't hang around for too long there. pompous **.
