Lol, I'm still reading la yetie's story, it's taking forever because I have to read it, then translate it, then write what I think. I'm actually trying to give her a real review, because it's become such a habit for me. *Sighs* even if I did bad mouth her, I really have read much worse on here. I should give her a little credit for moderate originality, I suppose.

Though the plot is a lot like that of many romance novels I've read...crap! Did I just say I read romance novels?! Lies! Lies, I say!

Gustave Courbet is the painter who painted the self portrait that is my avatar! I saw his wing in the Met when I went on Tuesday, and I fell in love with this painting. It's a little less yellow in real life, but I think that it's a nice touch on the internet. He did an awful lot of vaginas, which is a little creepy, but...what can I say? He was a great painter, no matter how questionable his subject matter.

And bad mouthing isn't horrible... Well, it is, but it was your starting that which caused people to read my work, so now you're getting me reviews.... In a roundabout way.

Romance is okay, sometimes. Nora Roberts, for instance, has humor on her side. Not just lovey-dovey, makes-me-wanna-lose-my-lunch stuff.

Always glad to get you reviews!! My big mouth seems to get a lot of things. I got Frac to advertise my forum, for one! Now people are bound to come join! Wooo!

Yeah, I don't even read real authors writing romance, though...Nora Roberts? Heard of her, but since I pretend not to read that stuff, I've never actually checked her out. I'll see if I can find any of her stuff on the internet if I can tear myself away from here. (Yeah, I know, I'm cheap, but a library lets people read books for free too, so they're just as bad). Anyway, I only read my mom's ancient Harlequin books when I've read everything else in the house multiple times. I actually started checking out fp to get away from that.

My point is...I'm not cultured.
