Gemma smiled. "Okay. I'll make you a new suit."

"Thanks, Sis," he said returning her smile.

Gemma looked at him expectantly. "Bye Aldo," she said sweetly. "I need to work now."

"Oh, yeah, right," said Aldo. He decided to pop by Morgan's.

Gemma watched him leave then flipped a page in her sketchbook and started sketching out a suit for Aldo.

Remembering it was Sunday, he went to his room and sank on the bed. He missed Sammy too much.

NINE MONTHS LATER

Gemma changed into a slim brown dress and looked at herself in the mirror. She bit her lip as she tucked her hair behind her ears, all the while trying to decide if she really liked the dress and wanted to wear it.

Kevin rolled up in a fancy touring car.

Gemma walked down to Aldo's room and knocked on the door, hoping he was there.

He opened it. "Hey Gemmie."

She looked at him and smiled. "What do you think of this dress?" she asked him. It covered everything but also hinted at her more feminine features.

"It looks very...uh dressy."

"Aldo, please help me," Gemma said. "Kevin is going to be here very soon."

He crossed his arms and took a long look. "Very..cute. He'll like it, but he should be lookin' here.." he tapped her nose.

"He doesn't look anywhere he shouldn't," she replied.

He better not,"He said. "You look just fine."

Gemma smiled. "Thank you." She looked at her brother. "Are you okay?"

"I'm..fine."

"Are you sure?" Gemma asked. "You look like something is upsetting you?"

((Darn her being the observant little sister...heehee))

"Really I'm..its just."

She walked into his room and sat down on his bed. "It's just what?"

"Its nothing.."

"Come on, Aldo. Do you really think I believe that?"

He sighed and then spoke. "The girl I'm seeing left for awhile. And she knows I love her, but its just hard without her."

"The girl you brought to Rina's wedding?" Gemma inquired.

He nodded.

"I liked her. She seemed nice," Gemma commented. "Why haven't you brought her around since then? Don't you think Mother and Father would want to get to know her, especially if you like her this much?"

"I..I.. can't.."

Gemma looked at him. "Why not?"

He sighed and closed the door. "I know you can keep a scert but this is for real, understand?"

She looked at him and nodded. "I won't tell a soul. I promise."

"I'm so stupid for letting this happen. S-she's.."

Gemma looked at him, just waiting for him to finish.

"Sh-she's a daughter of a H-Holden," he said shaking and snak back on the bed scared and ashamed.

Gemma just looked at him, saying nothing for several moments. "She...what?" she asked. "I...I didn't know that they had any females."

He was close to tears. "I'm so stupid; but I love her."

Gemma reached out and took her brother's hand. "Then we can't let Father find out who she is," she said softly.

He squeezed it like it was his mother's. He was livid. "I know..we been trying to hide it..but her father is geting worried..I need her." He broke down.

She pulled Aldo to her and rubbed his back. "We'll find a way to make it all work."

He held onto his sister tightly. "I miss her so much.." After awhile he regained his composure. "You need to get ready for that date."

Gemma looked at him. "Kevin can wait," she said. "You're my brother and you come first. You're more important."

He nodded. "I don't know what I can do Gemie.."

She took a deep breath. "I don't know either...but you can't help who you love. We'll find a way for you to be with her."

He nodded and kissed her cheeck. "You got get ready for your date."

Kevin knocked on the door.

"Will you be alright?" Gemma asked, standing up and straightening out her dress.

"Don't worry bout me, you just have a good time."

(Jason wants to know when Hey's coming back :D How long you keeping Sammy outta the picture?)

"I can't have a good time unless I know you'll be okay."

He hugged her. "I'll be okay."

Gemma nodded. "Okay. I'll see you later, Aldo."
