"Oh nothin'," he said. "Just looking at my old house."

She got up from the bed, wrapping the blanket around her and came to stand next to James, resting her head on his arm. "Where is it?"

"Just there," he said poniting a two-story house that was just a spck.

She looked to where he pointed, "Could we go see it?"

"Sure," he said nodding. "I thinks it been abandoned snice the teens so we won't be buging anyone."

Rina nodded, kissing his shoulder, "When are we meeting up with your mother?"

"Tomrow."

She nodded again and then sighed, "So what's our plan for the rest of today?"

"Well yo wanna see the house?"

She smiled and nodded, "Sure."

"Ok, get dressed though," he said with a smile. "If they saw you runin' around like that, they'll never let me back here."

She laughed and kissed him, "Don't worry, I wouldn't want to go running around without any clothes on." She gave him another kiss and then turned to her suitcase for some clothing.

"Aww," he said with a smrik.

"What?" she looked up at him, holding clothes in her hands, "You want me to run around naked?"

"Least I'd enjoy it."

She laughed and got dressed.

He smiled and took hand starting toward the door.

"Aren't you going to put a shirt on?" she asked him, smiling.

He rolled his eyes at her and put on his shrit. "Maybe I woulda.'

She gave him a kiss once his shirt was on and then took his hand, "Let's go."

He head out the door and head down the drit path to his old house.

She followed taking in everything as they walked along.

James walked to the fornt door and fished under the door mat for the key. He wondered if it would still be there after decaides. His hand touched brass and he inserted the key in the lock and turned it. It opened with a long moan.

Rina giggled when he found the key and opened the door, "I guess no one ever looked under the mat."

"My mother always stuck it there."

Rina looked at him, "Where's your mother living, then, if not here?"

"With my da in Belfast; I think mentioned it."

Rina nodded, "I remember you saying that now."

He walked in the house noteing nothing had chaged. There was siting room with highback chairs and fireplace. A penio was shoved in the cornor. The musicbook on the stand was still opened to "God save Ireland" his mother's favorite tune. He walk arond the kincen and saw the old sqaure table. Then he went up stairs to his room, next to it was Kevin's.

Rina followed him around, looking at everything. "Why was it all just left like this?"
