Kevin pulled up in front of his cabin.

Gemma looked at the cabin as the car pulled up and she smiled. "This is a really nice place," she said.

"It sure is," smiled Kevin.

"Want me take your begs?" asked Alin.

"Sure."

It was then he spoted his childhood friend. "Gemma?"

Gemma looked up and when she saw who had said her name a wide smile formed on her face. "Alan?"

He smiled and rushed to her for a hug. "W-What are you doing here?" he asked excited.

She wrapped her arms around him. "I...well, I'm here with Kevin," she answered.

He pulled away smiling. "You two know each other?" he rasied an eyebrow.

(I'm temped to make kevin into a total "Woman beater" jerk now. Whatya think?)

((Sounds like a plan to me. I don't think he and Gemma were really working out anyway.))

She nodded. "His brother married Rina last year."

"Oh.." he tried to mask his sadness at not being invited to the wedding. 'But that's wonderful."

(Evil laugh*

She looked at him. "I'm sorry. I didn't know where you were so I didn't send you an invitation. It was a rather hurried wedding," she answered.

((Kevin just seems like the type that now he's away from Marco he'll do whatever he wants.))

"Its ok."

She smiled. "Aldo married as well. I guess now I'll know where to send an invitation when the next celebration comes around."

He tickled her chin like he did as a boy. 'Think you're the last one.

She giggled for a moment and then sobered up because the thought crossed her mind once again that Carlo was dead. "I guess I am," she said.

"Hey, well limmie get ya inside."

"All right. Thank you."

He grabbed her begs and lugged them into the living room. "My room is just down hall. Your's is here ajuned wit kevin's."

She nodded. "Thank you, Alan."

"Ok, i'm gonna take a nap. Limmie know if ya need somthing."

"Then I'll see you later."

She walked into her room to look around.

Kevin came up behind her and put his arms round her. "What do think of the place?"

She looked over her shoulder at him. "It's very nice."

"Glad you think so," he planted a kiss on the back of her neck.

"What do we do now that we're here?"

"Let's take rest like your friend.."

She nodded. "That is probably a good idea." She turned around and looked at him. "I guess I will see you later then, after we wake up."

"Why? I got a good bed right here, hun."

"But Kevin...I...I don't think that is such a good idea."

"Why?" he asked smiply shocked at a refuseal.
