Gawain watches as a girl run into the inn. He leans over to Lancelot. "She seems to know this place."

"I'm certain there are many in this town who know the inn well enough," Lancelot commented.

"Ah true true. She seems to be looking for something though." He returned to his drink to realize he still hadn't actually drunk any of it.

"Maddie!" Emma yelled. Glomp!

Maddie smiled. "Hey Em," she said, wrapping her arms around the girl.

Emma shot out a long, complicated speech in rapid-fire gibberish into Maddie's skirt, hugging her tightly.

"Emma, Emma, calm down," Maddie said, looking at the girl. "Now, tell me calmly what you just said."

((Laulau's back))

"I missed you so much, but everybody told me I should be mad at you because you went off with the man who stabbed Pa and another man who looks just like him went in there and now supposedly he's fine and are you staying now? Are you hungry? Is that man gone now? Where did you go? Do you have to go back? You look pretty; did you do something different?"

"I...I just came to see how you and Belle are."

She paused and looked at Emma. "Father's fine?"

"I'm going to have to leave soon...I don't know when I'll come back."

"No!!" she yelled, tightening her hold on the older girl's legs. "If you go I go with you!"

Maddie shook her head. "You can't go with me Emma. You need to stay here with your Ma and Pa."

"But I want to go with you," she protested.

"I'm sorry, Em, you can't."

((Laulau's waiting on you))

((For what? I responded to her when you first told me and she hasn't gotten back to me yet.))

Emma started making Maddie's skirt soggy.

Maddie pulled the girl away from her. "Your place is here with your Ma and Pa and your brothers and sister," Maddie said calmly. "I need to go find my Ma."

She looked up at her and sniffed. "Then why did you come back?"

"To check on you...and to get some of my clothes. I can't very well wear this every day."

Emma looked up at her tearfully.

"Would you like me to bring you something the next time I come back?" Maddie asked, kneeling so she can look the girl straight in the eyes.

"You're not going to come back," the little girl said with absolute certainty.

"Of course I'll come back. I'm not leaving for forever."

"Yes you are. I'll never see you again," she sobbed.

"Emma...I'm not going far. I'll be back, I promise," Maddie told the sobbing girl, wiping away her tears.

((Bedtime soon. You have dance in under 8 hours))

Emma launched herself forward and latched onto Maddie's neck. "I don't want you to go!"

"I have to Emma."

((And so do you...bed, now!))

Dagonet looked over the innkeeper and frowned, he was about to ask Isabelle to get some things when Gawain and Lancelot came into the room. He stood back against the wall and waited for Gawain to fix the man and then followed the other two Knights back out to the main room. With a sigh he sat down and asked for some food.

"Don't go!" she cried at the top of her lungs, headless that there were a bunch of knights waiting on her to searve them.

Galahad stared at the little girl. "What's going on with her?" He asked the other Knights.

Gawain looks over to him. "I'm not entirely sure, but I think that the other girl there is her sister than ran off. She must have found her way back."
