Danielle ThamasaTopic: The Town Small cottages, medium homes, and large estates. There are various shops throughout the town. The Enchanted Forest lies to the North at the base of the mountains and the Forbidden Forest lies off to the West. Farm land is on the East end of the town. A small road cuts through the plains to the South and past them is the Azure Sea. |
Danielle Thamasa((from the Enchanted Forest))Nascha ran with Jack to the town and looked around hesitantly. She rarely ever left the forest. |
The Terrific TrioJack and Nascha (known to him as Brooke) walked into the town past the gates. It was Market Day, for sure. The main plaza had been converted into a large, chaotic mass of booths and animal pens. Jack made a beeline for the cattle pens, hoping to find his mother. |
Danielle ThamasaNascha panicked slightly seeing all the people around for Market Day, but relaxed slightly when she saw the cattle pens, though she didn't like seeing the beautiful creatures in pens. |
The Terrific TrioJack scanned the crowd, looking for his mother and Milky-White. M-W should be easy enough to find-there were almost no albino cows in the Kingdom aside form her. Where were they, where were they...there-on the opposite side of the pen! Jack vaulted over the crudely-made fence of the pen to run through to reach them faster-and realized with a start that the fence collapsed under his weight. The sudden clatter of boards spooked the cattle, and they took off for the nearest opening for freedom. There was one major problem:Jack was lying sprawled on the ground, right in the path of thier stampede. He looked up, saw what was going on, and muttered to himself: "Aw, great." |
Danielle ThamasaNascha reacted quickly, moving over to the fence of the pen. She stepped around in front of Jack, between him and the herd. As the cattle neared her they began to slow. One in particular didn't realize the herd was slowing and broke through everyone, stopping just inches from Nascha. She reached out and began to pet it on the nose, murmuring softly to it. None of the cattle moved, even with the fence broken and freedom just a few feet away. |
The Terrific TrioJack after taking several seconds to realize he was still alive-and even more astonishingly, unharmed-looked around and saw the cattle standing stock still. They looked utterly content and peaceful. The lad picked himself up and brushed himself off when he realized that the marketplace was deadly quiet. Brooke was standing there, petting the nose of a rather fierce-looking steer. Jack stared in puzzlement. Brooke NOT a sorceress? It certainly didn't look that way anymore. |
Danielle ThamasaNascha stopped petting the steer and stared at him. He turned and began to walk to the other side of the pen, the rest of the herd following him. Nascha looked around and saw that everything had frozen and all eyes were on her. She looked down at Jack. "I...I should...I should go." Turning she started to leave the cattle pen. |
The Terrific Trio"Woah, woah, Brooke, wait!" Jack started to run after her, but then he heard his mother's voice calling him."Jack? What are you doing here?" Jack was caught between two difficult choices: find out what was up with Brooke, or stop Milky-White from being sold? ((And with that cliffhanger, I need to go. Later!)) |
Danielle ThamasaNascha halted, hearing Jack call her name. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. This wasn't something she needed to run from; she had done it many times over the years. Slowly she walked back to the cattle pen, eyes cast to the ground so she didn't have to look at all of the people there. |
Danielle ThamasaWhispers could be heard amongst the villagers as Nascha walked back to the cattle pen, trying to ignore all the peoples' stares. "She's returned. The BeastTamer is back." "It's Nascha; she came home." |
The Terrific TrioJack listened to the murmers of the crowd. BeastTamer? Brooke? Jack looked at the woman as his mother ran up to him and threw her arms around him, trapping her in a bear hug every teenage boy would be embarassed to see. Jack finally managed to squirm loose after a second and faced Brooke. "Just who are you?" he asked. |
Danielle ThamasaNascha looked at Jack slowly, almost as if fearful of his reaction. "My name is Nascha Talani." |
The Terrific TrioJack's mother gasped behind him, but the boy only blinked once. "I sort of remember the name from...somewhere, but I forget what exactly." |
Danielle Thamasa"I...I really shouldn't be here. I...I should go..." She was panicked but hesitant to leave. |
The Terrific Trio"Okay, we'll go somewhere by ourselves and you can tell me whatever it is you aren't telling me." Jack suggested. "Meanwhile," he said rounding on his mother, "you can take Milky-White back to our house for me."His mother sighed. "You've got your father's stubbornness when it comes to your cattle. Fine then, she wasn't worth much anyways." She took the cow's leash and headed out of the market. |
Danielle ThamasaNascha nodded and started to walk back towards the Enchanted Forest. As she did so, several of the cattle tried to follow her. She turned, looked at them for a moment and they all stopped. Satisfied, she turned and began walking away once more, trying to ignore all the looks she was receiving from the villagers. |
The Terrific TrioJack eyed the ogling villagers and the oddly peaceful cattle. "Oookay, then. Let's go."((Back to the Enchanted Forest! You start this time)) | #18 Jan 24th, 6:29pm . Edited Jan 24th, 6:29pm

The Terrific Trio((Jack and Nascha enter throught the town...again))"When you meet this guy, he'll seem a little...odd at first. Don't worry about it, though." Jack explained to Nascha. |
Danielle Thamasa"I've met plenty of odd people in my life, Jack." |
The Terrific Trio"Okay." Jack said as they continud to walk down the side street. He glanced around at the people to see if they were watching them. |
Danielle ThamasaA few had noticed but they only glanced out of the corner of their eyes, as if they thought they were seeing an apparation."Where are we going Jack?" Nascha asked. |
The Terrific Trio"Not far-unless he's moved," Jack said, turning into a wide back alley. The normally bright light of the tow gave way to an eerie shade of blue. Jack looked ahead, and saw the old, ratty man kneeling in front of a fire, still clad in what appeared to be the same black robe. "That's him." Jack whispered. |
Danielle Thamasa"Who is that?" Nascha asked, eyes wide.((When are you guys going to bed?)) |
The Terrific Trio"Don't know. He's just called the Mysterious Man around town. Don't know much about his past, either, but the guy knows just about everything." Jack explained, approaching the MM.((Gotta go-to be continued)) |
Danielle Thamasa"And you think he'll actually know something that will end the curse?" Nascha asked, slightly worried but slightly hopeful as well. |
The Terrific Trio"If anyone besides that dark mage knows, it'll be him." Jack said as he walked over to the MM. He sat down in front of the bearded figure, on the other side of the little fire he had made. "Excuse me." Jack asked. The MM suddenly glanced up, as if noticing Jack for the first time, and contemplated him for several moments."You're the boy who owns the pure-white cow, who lives out in the Enchanted Forest with his mother. Hello, Jack." the man said in a surprisingly deep voice for his figure. He looked up at Nascha. "And you are the woman who was cursed to remain apart from the one she loves, to satisfy the needs of one who wishes he were the other. Hello, Nascha Telani." | #27 Jan 26th, 6:02pm . |
Danielle ThamasaNascha just looked at the man, saying nothing. Just because he knew who she was didn't necessarily mean he knew anything else. She wasn't going to be too hopeful about him knowing a way out of the curse.((By the way, he shouldn't really know of any real way to break the curse.)) |
The Terrific Trio"There is a way to break the curse, but I don't know what it is." the MM said, coughing. |
Danielle ThamasaNascha sighed. She knew there was only one way to end this cruel fate and that was to give in to the dark mage. |
The Terrific Trio"What I can tell you is this:" he said, suddenly bolting to his feet and standing nose to nose with Nascha."Search the seas of time and the seven sands, There you will find what you desire, but not what you seek." |
Danielle ThamasaNascha eyed him for a moment then backed away. "I tire of riddles," she commented. |
The Terrific TrioThe old man ignored her and st back down in front of his fire again, mumbling something to himself. Jack turned to Nascha. "I'm sorry, but his advice is usually much more straightforward than that." |
Danielle Thamasa"It's fine Jack," Nascha said, her voice slightly cold. "I should return to the forest." |
The Terrific Trio"Um, yeah, yeah...so should I." Jack said, hurrying to follow Nascha out of the alley. |
Danielle ThamasaNascha looked out towards the Enchanted Forest and noted the rainclouds forming overhead. Her jaw dropped for a moment, then she closed her mouth and a small smile appeared, her eyes filling with tears. |
The Terrific TrioJack didn't notice the look on her face. "So do you want to stay at my place again, or go do your own thing?" |
Danielle Thamasa"I really should return to the Lover Pond," she said quietly. "I think he will be there this time." |
The Terrific TrioJack turned to look at her, and finally saw her face. "Nascha? What's up?" |
Danielle ThamasaNascha continued to gaze at the sky above the Enchanted Forest. "He's there, Jack. He will not miss the meeting again, I know it." She stopped, turned, and looked at Jack. "Would you like to meet him?" |
The Terrific Trio"Uh...sure, I guess." |
Danielle Thamasa"Come on!" Nascha exclaimed, grabbing Jack's hand and pulling him towards the Enchanted Forest.((To Enchanted Forest)) |
Rogue-writer-16((From the Forbidden Forest))Bell flew from the forest directly to the centre of the town, looking around for the apothacaries. She spotted it and flew to the closed window, putting the paper down for a moment to tap on the glass... she didn't want people to know she could shift just yet... |
Danielle ThamasaRand looked up from the counter, noticing a bird tapping on the glass. He walked over and opened the door. "Hello there," he said. "And what do we have here?" |
Rogue-writer-16She picked up the paper and flew over to the counter. Dropping the paper on the ground, she hopped behind the desk and shifted, stretching as she stood."I am sorry to intrude but Morgan would like your help." |
Danielle ThamasaRand simply looked at the bird and nodded, as if this were a normal everyday occurence. "What does Morgan require now?" |
Rogue-writer-16"You must be the right person then. These things." she said, walking out from behind the counter and handing him the list,"Before sunset if it is at all possible." | #47 Feb 05th, 9:55pm . Edited Feb 05th, 9:57pm

Danielle Thamasa"Morgan always one to give challenging demands." He looked at the list. "Hmmm...interesting combination. She's going to be weaving some strong magick later, that much I can tell." Rand turned his gaze to the messenger. "I'll be back in just a little while." Then he headed back into the storeroom to look around for what he needed. |
Rogue-writer-16Bell nodded and backed up to sit atop the counter lightly, looking around. |
Danielle ThamasaA while later Rand came out of the back room, carrying a pouch full of everything Morgan had requested. "Here you are," he said, handing it over. "I hope Morgan knows what she's doing with this stuff." |
