Rogue-writer-16Topic: The Key Family Household
Not as large as the WH mansion, this home remains one of the biggest in the street but, also, one of the best-kept. The large front garden is green with the hedges trimmed. The floors are kept polished and the windows clean. With three stories there are five bedrooms, one for each of the children, a master bedroom and two guest bedrooms, a television room, dining room, kitchen, three bathrooms and the top floor is Lissy's 'studio'. This is probably the messiest room of the household with designs and fabrics everywhere and is completely her own domain. |
Lee's ghost re-bornKey's car rolled in front of the house, he got out and knocked on the door. |
Rogue-writer-16Lizzy, busy in her room at the top of the house, pressed the intercom, asking Serrah to get the door. She was half-finished with a new dress design and wanted it just right. Serrah huffed at being interrupted but strolled to the door, swinging it open to face her father. |
Lee's ghost re-born"Hi, Serrah," he moved to hug her not sure if she was too old for it. "Where's your mom?" |
Rogue-writer-16She hugged him dutifully before stepping away, "Upstairs. Just because you're not here any more doesn't mean anything's changed." she said softly, motioning to the stairs, "Go up, but don't interrupt her. She'll just get mad." she warned. Lee's ghost re-born(Aww...to bad! And I will!) Key went to the thid floor and waited for LIzzy. |
Rogue-writer-16((Thankies I have to send it away now :( *sigh*)) Bobbing her head slightly to the soft music that constantly played while she worked, Lissy hummed to herself as she stood back, examining her creation. She ducked back in to sew on an extra bead then grinned. Done! |
Lee's ghost re-born"Hey," said Key after clearing his thorat. |
Rogue-writer-16She jumped and turned to face him, "Hello. Serrah let you in, I'm supposing." she said, turnign back to her desk and placing the pins and other odds and ends she was juggling, down on it. |
Lee's ghost re-born"Yeah, hun, told you I could make it. (If you can post, you're needed in Ireland.) |
Rogue-writer-16((I shall postage now :D)) Lissy smiled and nodded, "But you can't blame me for not getting my hopes up, can you Bobby?" she commented, motioning him into her studio as she switched off the music, "Come on in then. Don't stand in the doorway like some stranger." she teased. |
Lee's ghost re-bornHe pulled her into a hug. "I get better at comentment with age." |
Rogue-writer-16She laughed, a little surprised but hugged him back, "It would appear that way, dear." she admitted with a light chuckle. She took a little step back with a smile, "Dinner should be ready in an hour or so." she informed him, "Was there anythign you wanted to do while we wait? Did you see both the kids yet?" |
Lee's ghost re-born"I saw sera," he said. "She looks so much like you!" (Note about Ireland: She's visting them, you have it the other way around. And Dani's keeping it unlocked in the summer case any of us are on...whenever.) | #14 May 05th, 4:36am . Edited May 05th, 4:39am | |

Rogue-writer-16((Oops! Okay. Thanks. I'll change that!)) Lissy shrugged, "She does but she doesn't thinks so." she commented, "So you haven't seen your boy yet?' she aske dwith a smile, "He's gotten so big." |
Lee's ghost re-born"Where's he at anyway?" (How old would he be?) |
Rogue-writer-16((*shrug* 14/15?)) She bit her lip, "Probably in his room... I would think." |
Lee's ghost re-born"Oh, okay," said Key heading toward it. (I'll make his stuff today. XD) |
Rogue-writer-16((Haha! Onya!)) Lissy smiled and followed, closing the door to her floor behind her. |
Lee's ghost re-bornKey walked into Collin’s room and stood in the doorway. He watched his son fiddling with model planes and glue. He looked so happy and big! “Hey, Collin,” said Key. Collin looked at his father and smiled. “Your really here for once!” “I’m really here,” said Key. Collin jumped off his bed and hugged him. “What you working on?” “P-38,” said Collin like he should know it. “Moo-m what’s for diner!” (I live!) |
Rogue-writer-16((*gasp* shock-horror!)) "Don't whine." she berated her son absently then smiled at the pair of them, "Baked dinner of course." |
Lee's ghost re-born(Baked dinner????) He noded. |
Rogue-writer-16((*shrug*)) Lissy nodded in return and looked around her sons room, her fingers twisting together a little awkwardly. ((I'm gonna be off most of the day, just so you know!)) |
Lee's ghost re-born(You mean night? XD) "What's the matter Liz?" asked Key. |
Rogue-writer-16((Nope. Twas day to me.)) She looked up and smiled, shaking her head, "Nothing." "Mum..." Serrah hesitated at the doorway, leaning against the frame, crossing her arms over her chest, "D'you think I could go out with Josh tonight?" Lizzy frowned at her daughter, "You know your father has come over specially for a family dinner, Serrah." she berated and the Serrah scowled, looking to her father for approval. |
Lee's ghost re-born"After dinner," said Key rising his eyebrows. "I'd reaally like to see you for awhile." |
Rogue-writer-16Serrah sent a smirk to her mother and spun on her heel, back to her room. Lizzysighed, rubbing her temples, "I swear, sometimes that girl..." she shook her head and smiled at Key, "Why don't I go see how dinner is going. I"ll be back in a second." |
Lee's ghost re-born"Sure thing," said Key runing off to check on the dinner. |
Rogue-writer-16((... wasn't SHE going to check on dinner? What's he doing? Lol.)) |
Lee's ghost re-born(I thought she told him to. Oh well he is so...) |
Rogue-writer-16(Haha! Okay... well.. we'll say he's goned.)) Lizzy ruffled her sons hair then left, heading to her daughters room. Serrah had become somewhat... rebellious lately and, really, she should have expected it knowing she had been the same at her age but it was only now she was realising what she had put her own mother through. She knocked on the shut door lightly then opened it without waiting for a reply. "Mother!" her daughter shrieked, tossing the magazine she'd been reading to the floor, "Get out. You're supposeed to wait before coming in... if I even let you!" With a sigh, she ignored her and perched on the corner of her desk, looking around. her room was all clothes, band-boys on the wall and music blasting from her speakers. Was that a bra hanging on the lamp? She shook her head. "I ask you to be polite and nice for one evening while your father is here and you cannot even manage that? What am I going to do with you, Serrah?" "Urgh! Do you really even care? I mean, sell me or something. You seem to love money so much." the teenager pouted, crossing her arms over her chest, "And why should I be polite and nice to him? He's never around anyway." "Because he is your father and he deserves your respect at least." "Why? What does he do to deserve it? All he does is sit in his mansion all day. It's not like he actually works." she spat with a sneer. Lizzy rubbed her temples tiredly. |
Lee's ghost re-bornKey looked at dinner in the oven and decared it eatable. "THINK WE'RE ABOUT READY," he called. |
Rogue-writer-16Lizzy jumped at his voice and smiled just a little then looked to her daughter, "Come downstairs and eat with your family." Serrah opened her mouth and her mother shook her head with The Look, "No arguments. Now." The pair headed downstairs, Lizzy sticking her head in at her sons doorway to ask him to come down. ((Off to class. Bye)) |
Lee's ghost re-bornKey set it out and his son raced to his seat. |
Rogue-writer-16Serrah flopped into her seat, fiddling with a fork. Lizzy rolled her eyes and followed her children down, smiling at Key, "Since when did you help with dinner?" she asked softly. |
Lee's ghost re-born"After our devorice," he answered. "I had to lean how to feed myself." |
Rogue-writer-16"Very true." Lizzy nodded, sitting, shooting a look at Serrah when she scowled and was about to say something... probably not nice. "Eat up then you lot." |
Lee's ghost re-bornKey dug in. "You're still the best cook I know, Liz," he said after chewing. |
Rogue-writer-16She grinned at the complement and shrugged, "You mustn't know many good cooks then... besides, you've got your own personal cook back at the mansion... surely she's got something on me." |
Lee's ghost re-born"No," he said. "You're the best." (wtf?! mansion?! WHHQ is a goverment buliding. :D When did it become that?) |
Rogue-writer-16((Umm... I allus thought it was a mansion... it's not like a corporate office building though, right?)) Lizzy just grinned, eating her food, ignoring Serrah as she rolle dher yees, looking very much like her mother. |
Lee's ghost re-born"So Serrah, new boyfriend I hear?" |
Rogue-writer-16Serrah grinned, shooting a look at her mother, "Yep. Josh. I was supposed to go out with him tonight but... well..." she shrugged. "You'd like him." Lizzy snorted, fiddling with her food. |
Lee's ghost re-born"And why's that?" |
Rogue-writer-16"Because mum doesn't." she answered with a shrug and a sharp grin. |
Lee's ghost re-bornHe laughed. "I don't like this young man..Want to know why? He's a teenage boy. I was once one myself, I know what he wants." |
Rogue-writer-16"Bah! You don't know anything about him... and he's not like that." she retored, crossing her arms over her chest. |
Lee's ghost re-born"That's what I made my girlfriend in high school too." |
Rogue-writer-16Serrah scowled at him, "That is not going to happen to me." she assured him, slouching in her chair. "Posture, Serrah." Lizzy corrected automatically then sighed as her daughter on scowled and slouched more. |
Lee's ghost re-bornKey just laughed. "I was bad in high school." |
