Additional Comments: This is my first response to a SKoW challenge (#23 - So Many Songs, But I'm Feeling So Lonely!). It's pretty rough, which means it's been written in the wee hours of the morning and I can't bear to read through it myself. It has kept me sane during these nights of insomnia though. Besides all the general basics, I need someone who is quite good at making sense of jumbled writing so they can point at bits that don't flow very well. It's probably not as bad as I'm making it out to be but I find it's always better to lower expectations (works with Quantum of Solace - not that I think I'm in any way as fascinating as Daniel Craig. Length of Story: So far - 10,060 words. That's a prologue and the first three chapters. I'm thinking there's going to be around twenty-five chapters, so if you're in for the long haul...

Additional Comments: I'm great with grammar, so you won't be correcting too much on that side. Mostly I just need someone to give me an honest opinion and who won't instantly 'love' everything they read. You can be as harsh as you want, really, I love being told that something is terrible because it means I can improve. I think my major issues are plot and characterisation, so people good with that would be awesome. The only thing is, I've never actually finished a story longer than a oneshot before. I either get bored or utterly stuck. So while you're being honest and harsh and whatnot, I also need someone who'll kind of drive me to finish this one. ...Or this saga, actually. There's kind of four books planned vaguely in my head. =D If you're not in for that much, it's cool. Right now I'm only looking for a beta for Chroma, series numero uno.

When it's posted on fictionpress, I plan for the summary to appear as: But what’s more selfish; my mother taking a handful too many pills and inducing her own death as I cried herself to sleep in the next room, or me not being able to summon tears at the funeral? I'd pick the former, but I may be a little biased.
