Appearance: Jyn is short, with shoulder-length dusty brown hair that she generally keeps pulled back. It becomes impossibly curly in humidity.She dresses plainly in tunics and trousers, and her favorite clothing colors are brown and sage. Her hazel eyes and short nose are often found buried in a book.

Personality: Jyn's personality is kind, but despite her patience, her temper is fierce when provoked. She tells fortunes for fun, enjoying making people squirm with her predictions, and occasionally has a rather dry sense of humor. She is deathly afraid of spiders, and while capable of defending herself, she is by no means a warrior.

Abilities/Magic: Sight

Weapons: A short, recurve bow, and a very chaste and practical dagger.

Name Thorn (Tavria, which means Thornrose)

Appearance

HUMANOID: Thorn is short and stocky, yet fine-featured. Her skin is dark, and her shorn, messy hair is a deep black-auburn. She has a dainty nose which is dusted with a light spray of freckles. She dresses like a forest hunter, clothed in green and brown. Her leather boots almost reach her knees, and it is in here that she stores her twin daggers.

ANIMAL: in her animal form Thorn appears to be a small, swift wolf with russet fur and abnormally long claws and very sharp teeth.

Personality Thorn has a very short temper and is somewhat sarcastic. She laughs a lot, and is just as easily tempted into being sulky. She is extremely vengeful and quite observant. Her wolf side makes her lean toward being suspicious about people she doesn't know, and she holds grudges disturbingly well. She is generally quite skeptical, and is taciturn with strangers. Her patron god is Sklar. She is more stubborn than brave. As good a liar as she is, she doesn't like lying or liars. Her sense of justice, though perhaps a little skewed, is strong and she upholds it well. She doesn't like the Lynae, absolutely detests humans (in general) and admires the Rin.

Abilities/Magic Elemental, one of the few magics that her race has; hers is power over water, and beastspeaking to canids, especially wolves. She is good at running and hiding. She is an accomplished liar.

Weapons She prefers to use claw and tooth in her semi-wolf form, but when subtlety is called for she is good with daggers. Her aim is hopelessly deplorable.

Appearance He's quite tall. He tends to wear dark green, red or forest-colored clothing. His black hair is very messy and almost reaches his shoulders in the back. He has a unibrow and his stunning blue eyes are somewhat angular.

Personality He is a caring individual who likes to help people when they're in pain, fearing failure and losing his temper when he does so. He is very compassionate.

Abilities/Magic He knows Sigil magic pretty well, and the branch he chose is a strange mix between Kinetic and War (fire). He learned basic rules about Alchemy though he can't actually use it. Through Sigil he learned extremely basic Pure magic.

Weapons A Crafted pearl sword made by the Thalasanthar. Runes have been carved into the edge of the sword by a skilled Lynae, and it was a family heirloom. Its name is Boreal.

Name Brialene (Bria)

Appearance The first thing that most people notice about her is how emaciated she looks--either that, or it's her hair, which is, despite its mousy color, gloriously long and silky. Her right eye seems more hazel than gold, and her left eye is a bright amber-hazel. She is of average height and has somewhat large ears and a dainty nose. Her skin is pale verging on pasty.

Personality Brialene is a very absentminded person. She is a dreamer and loves hearing tales about heroes and damsels, though she personally thinks the damsels are dull, helpless and stupid. Despite her cloudy nature, she is a very practical person, pointing out what should be the most apparent when other don't see it. Her fear of blood and gore is so extreme that at sight of either she will become tempororily petrified or go into hysterics. She doesn't know she's a Demigoddess, and because her father married someone when she was still a baby, she believes his father's wife is her mother.

Abilities/Magic She was born with Pure magic--her father was a Pure scholar in Lyrael before returning to a fully human society--and the Craft, which revolves around botany, courtesy of Goddess Ami, her mother. She is surprisingly good at solving riddles. She also has a knack for infuriating the narrow-minded.

Weapons She has none, though she does have a small pendant the shape of a lark.

Appearance She is of average height with short black hair and black eyes. Her skin is browned from years of travel with Sharlon (the Sharr). Her clothes are generally grey and always made by her own hand. She has a pendant in the shape of a spider that she never removes.

Personality It is very difficult for her to get worked up about anything, preferring to let other people handle problems. However, if she feels her friends are in danger she will help no matter the cost. She is very stubborn and has a fear of crowds.

Abilities/Magic She has moderate mind magic, mostly shallow mindreading, mindspeaking and emotion manipulation, though it mostly revolves around projecting. She also has the Craft--for her it revolves around weaving/tailoring.

Appearance Having adopted the shape of an Achludite, she is tall and slender. She has orange eyes and her body is a dark gray, but the shade lightens when she gets angry. Her true form has not yet been revealed.

Personality She is cold and distant, but loyal to important causes (that is, important to her). Her agenda is unknown.

Abilities/Magic Powerful Kinetic, although her control lacks the precision of older masters of her race.

Weapons An old, ornate bow. The wood is blackened ash, and a winding vine-colored tan and green is painted around its length.

Race Fliiar (Fliia)

Appearance

HUMANOID:Suno is decently tall, though not excessively so. She keeps her long, straight black hair down and around her face. Her bangs hide half of her face, and one of her mixed hazel eyes. She usually wears dark tunics, hiding even darker corsets underneath. Her trousers are usually blue of some sort (particularly dark), and are generally loose fitting.

ANIMAL: In this form she takes the from of a large bald eagle.

Personality She's quite mellow, but when she's opened up when relaxed or angered, she gets rather... mental. She's a cynic, and to her enemies she has no mercy. She likes heights and has halfway decent fighting skills.

Abilities/Magic Elemental magic, though hers is mixed. She has power over precipitation, such as rain, snow, hail, fog, etc. Though afterwards she's always thoroughly exhausted.

Weapons She only carries a small obsidian dagger at her hip, using it rarely for it's of sentimental value to her rather than an actual weapon.

Name Alaer

Appearance Alaer is taller than most Lynae, meaning he is so tall it is awkward. His features are boldly aristocrastic and severe. His eyes are reflective, marking him as a Lynae of the Mihrael bloodline as opposed to the Ankorai. Unlike almost all others of his kind, he is not helplessly weak physically. He spent half a century building up his strength so it could finally reach that of a decent human's. His hair is also a sign of his Lynae heritage, as it is so black that it absorbs light. It contrasts with his pearly skin tremendously; if he were thinner, he'd look ill.

Personality He is a usually practical optimist. He does not believe that one race is worse than the other, and that worth must be judged individually. He fears Oblivion and turning Sinister. He scorns pointless violence, greed and lies.

Abilities/Magic Ironically he was born with very strong War magic, in Warlightning. He is often the voice of hope in a group. He's also decent with a staff.

Weapons He owns a lodestone that was created through an Alchemist and was permanently Imbued. He uses it to store magic and control it when he's using it on a large scale.

Appearance He is pale but not sickly-looking, and has short white-blond hair and icy blue eyes. He is slightly on the tall side with a lean build. He usually wears the customary black of traditional Rin fighting.

Personality He is a jovial man, and loves cracking jokes. He works as a caravan guard, and though he gets along fairly well with people has never really had the time to make true friends.

Abilities/Magic He is skilled at traditional Rin fighting. He also has Elemental magic, and is capable of making water into ice and tends to wield it that way.

Weapons He owns a simple weighted staff Crafted by to be virtually indestructible.

Abilities/Magic He is a fairly skilled swordsman as well as a decent Elemental mage (fire)

Name Trey Nivim

Race Demigod (Fliiar/Fyrani)

Appearance

HUMANOID: Trey is tall, with red hair and dark skin typical of the inhabitants of the Cymeni Sands of Northern Illusia. His right eye is gold, a trademark from his Fliiari goddess mother, Fyrani, and his left eye is his Fliiar father's bright, cheerful green.

ANIMAL: In phoenix form he is far smaller than his mother, perhaps twelve feet in wingspan. His avian form is scarlet with a gold wingtips and an obsidian beak with claws to match.

Personality Trey means well, but like most demi-dieties, his attitude is overconfident. He is less arrogant than many, but believes his kind to be better that mortals and feels the need to "help" those he sees as worthy. His father spent most of his life teaching Trey control and empathy, but he is often cold, and despairs of finding a mate among the Fliiar, particularly the avians he grew up around, for they put high stake in intuitive natures.

Abilities/Magic He inherited the ability to wield phoenixfire from his mother and can briefly hold a half-changed form, humanoid with wings. However the half-change is taxing and he rarely uses the form. Weapons: Two short slender swords, worn in tan scabbards on either hip, so as not to inhibit his wing movement. Other: His father was a golden eagle, hence the gold colorations of Trey's animal form.

Name Dunemoth (Dune)

Appearance She has very pale lavender skin, with long, fluffy white hair that nearly reaches her waist. Her eyes are a keen dark yellow, set deeply underneath razor thin brows. She is slender, short and very graceful--almost like a dancer. When she smiles one can see her fangs stick out slightly beneath her upper lip--she avoids grinning. She usually wears martial leather or the customary black of the Rin arts.

Personality She is a perfect pessimist. She is willing to admit her weaknesses if her life is in danger, and will not fight those she knows is stronger than her, but otherwise is rather arrogant. Honestly, she is selfish, as she does what she thinks is right, which is about half of the time, wrong. One of her beliefs is that she must repay a good deed done for her, and she will lay her life and soul on the line to return favors.

Abilities/Magic She has no magic to speak of, but her fighting abilities--and her religion, Jehelism, which she interpreted dictated that Demons must be wiped out--has brought her to fight against the Demons.

Weapons She uses a jao, a traditional Rin weapon.
