This is THE city. It's really any city you want it to be, and as such it doesn't really have any particular name. All manner of folk live here and if you want to keep your reputation and your wallet you'd best stay away from the East side of town.

Market Day is everyday here and you can buy anything you can think of, and I do mean anything.

There are numerous taverns and Inns and stores of every sort, so stop on by when the mood strikes.

Me you and DB are sorta occupied in the big-bad-mansion.. Hellboy over there has nuthin to do anywayz...

Fellri shrugged them off, but he accidentally knocked someone's beer over.. "You owe me a beer" said nasty beer-breath behind him. Fellri turned around and was met by the biggest man she'd ever seen. Hairy, Brawny, strong as an ox, oen that could burst my head... "but uhh... uhmm... hmmm.." she had to focus her thoughts, and finally checked her little black purse.. "I'm s-sorry.. I don't have e-enough.." she was genuinely scared.. this man could rip her in two!

Thereon walked serenely into some restaurant, he didn't bother checking what it was.

"I du'n care, gimme ano beer! noaw!" said the obviously drunk beast of a man.. "Eeekk!" a tiny scream escaped Fellri's lips.. the then lifted her knee promtly to his groin.. rendering him temporarily crippled (lol, the bigger the man, the more it hurts... so I've found on the net..) she ran to a person who had just walked in... hoping he'd help her somehow..

Thereon watched a woman kick a large man and run up to him. "Can I help you?" he asked and looked back at the drunk man.

She nodded reahter fast.. "That man... I accidentally knocked his beer over and he's going berserk!" she tried not to squeak.. "Help me.. please?"

Thereon nodded and walked over calmly to the man, "you'd do best to leave her alone sir."

The drunken man gave Thereon a cold sneer, "an whatta ya gonna do bout it huh?"

Fellri nodded slowly.. "He'll kick your ass any day!" Fellri wasn't looking to start a fight.. she was merely trying to scare him off.. the Drunken man pulled out a dagger, or, what seemed like a short-sword to Fellri.. Her face paled..

The man thrust the dagger at Thereon but he was faster. He grabbed a chair from behind him and brought it down hard on the man's knife hand, breaking it and making him loosen the grip.

Fellri backed away a few steps... wondering what on earth to do. she decided to hand the man another chair.. and put one beside him. An old, rather large wooden one.

"Get the knife!" Thereon turned to the woman for a brief second before grabbing hold of another chair. The guy brought his other fist towards Thereon, but he ducked and slammed the chair into his stomach.

Fellri ducked down, deftly snatching the knife off the floor, although she nearly cut her wrist open, she handed the knife to Thereon

Thereon took the knife, "We should get out of here." A quick glance around told them that more people would get involved if they didn't leave very soon.

Fellri nodded as she dashed out the door, waiting just outside for him.

Thereon followed her out the door and gestured for her to follow him away from the building.

Fellri nodded and followed.. keeping a watchful eye on the rear.

"So what's your name then?" Thereon asked without turning.

"Fellri.. means sprite, where I come from." she almost smacked herself.. she can't let on where she came from!

"Fellri, that's a nice name, I'm Thereon. What were you doing in that bar?"

"I was going to.." sneak some food, don't tell anyone.. "I was just grabbing a quick drink"

"So, did you get your drink? Actually, that fight kind of made me hungry, want to grab a bite?"

She panicked only for a moment.. "sure."

((Sorry I take so long, I'm exploring new rooms for one of the Maps I'm giving SP, and the other maps have pretty much every room except this one, and I'm fixing that.))

Thereon walked into a peaceful looking restaurant with very few people left.

Fellri sat down at a table near the door..

A waitress came over to take their orders. "I'll just have a burger. Fellri?"

"Can I get a dwarven stout?" The waitress frowned.. "I'll need ID" ((XD)) Fellri nodded.. "nevermind. I'll find some other way to drown my memory, I'll have a shirley temple" ((XDXDXD)) the waitress nodded and left.

The waitress returned shortly and Thereon ate his burger.

Fellri drank her drink in silence..

Not much of a converationalist himself, Thereon finished his burger and watched her drink.

Fellri rose and stood "I propose a toast to his man, for he has saved my life, and lives around me!" a few cheers were quicky shushed and then laughter erupted.. she sat down stricken..

Thereon smiled briefly before asking, "Thanks, if you don't mind me asking though, are you...drunk?"

"Umm, yes and no. I'm not drunk by any normal means, I'm drunk by birth, my mother drank alot when she was conceiving me.. sorry." she looked down.. with a bit of an ahsamed look upon her face..

"Hey, don't worry about it." Several people gave them weird looks but soon went back to their food and own conversations.

Fellri looked him right in the eye.. "follow me" she said solemnly as she walked out the door.

Thereon followed Fellri all the while wondering where she was taking him.

Fellri ducked into a nearby cave, just outside of town.. and then it happened. She was no longer human shaped she was, instead, a sort of.. wisp. That erm.. moved around as smoke might in the wind. She telepathically spoke to him "Please don't be afraid.. many have called me a freak for this talent.."

((I g2g to English now, I might be on in a few minutes.. or maybe in 1, and a half hours... depends..))

"Afraid? What exactly are you?" He could feel her voice in his head. He wasn't quite sure how to react, it was...amazing?

"I'm the last of my kind.. as far as I know, At one time your people called us 'Demons of Smoke' but our real definitive name was the Sarhhge We are humans like you, who can transform to this.. wisp of smoke.. at will. Some of us have used this ability for good.. other's for bad." in her native tongue (thereon probably wouldn't understand as it's a bunch of airy sounds. she CAN speak english, without being telepathic, but telepathy is easier.) "Your kind have found a way to kill us.. long ago, thought you understood us.. but now we rise.."

"Unless your ploy is to try and harm me...I know I probably wouldn't be able to understand you completely but I don't understand why people would fear you either."

The wisp gave a sudden jerk then suddenly shifted from the original light blue-green to a dark, flowing blood red.. "I don't believe you. But I will accept the fact that you haven't drawn your dagger on me.." the cold.. cold touch of iron...

"I..uh, thanks?"

"Your welcome human..." She transformed, in a bright flash of bluish-greenish light, her human form glowed radiantly, as the light died down she walked towards him.. "Shall we get going? we should find somewhere to sleep for the night."

"Uh, sure," Thereon just watched her open mouthed for a brief second before asking, "Did you havwe any place in mind?"

She turned back, whispering in his ear, her hand on his chest.. "Up there..." she giggled quietly.. she turned to a wisp and began floating off [Meet me here tomorrow at sunrise human.]

Thereon looked around until he found a small cave. He settled himself into it and tried to sleep. He began going through random events until his mind wandered off to sleep.
