Here you can post some of your favorite story character names, those that you have or haven't used yet. Some of my favs: Boys: Alexei (Definate #1 in my list!) Milo Miles Evan Girls: Harmony (used it once in a story, along with Milo, but I eventually scrapped that project... I'd love to use it again, though.) Svetlana (nice, even though it sounds like "sweat-llama.") Willow Matilda So, go ahead, post my pretties! Post! ...and if you don't get that reference then you probably think I'm crazy now...

... Crazy COOL. BD Guys: Jonathon (used but changed) Jesse (I haven't used it yet for reasons below...) Ichabod Tyler (yea, I used that too) Danny (yup, used that too) Toni (and that) and any name from which I can derive the name "Nikki"- obviously that's been used time and time again Girls: Karen Ginny (Virginia) (used) Sharon (Gwen)Dolyn (I use this a lot, it's my favorite explicitly female name) Janey (I use this repeatedly- different than a lot) Ryan (long story) SO YES. I haven't used the name Jesse in a piece of writing yet of any kind because I'm afraid I'll ruin it for myself again, the way I did Jonathon. See, I was going to change my name to Jonathon (because I adore that name, see), but I began to use it for characters in the mean time, and I wrote so many other personalities than mine into the name that I don't want it anymore. If that makes sense. So I want Jesse now. Next in line are Gabriel and Leslie, equal contenders at the moment, although I think Gabe might win out. Unless I start liking the name Zach again. It's difficult to create a new identity for yourself when you can decide on everything but a new name! xD

*Just realized you're a boy after days of thinking I was typing to a girl* Oh well! Doesn't really make a difference! See, it's just since "Rimma" ends with an A, it sort of sounds feminine, so, yeah. ~I'm a girl~ Karen's a cool name, and Ginny is neat too (except for the fact that I always think of Harry Potter when I hear it. Curse you, J.K. Rowling, and your best selling books that I love!!!) Ichabod... sounds familiar. Isn't that the guy from the "Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow?" We watched a movie on it last year in my English class. Lately I've been using names from royalty in stories, especially the Romanovs. I'm using Alexei in one of my most recent stories. And, just because I LOVE writing long posts, I recommend that (if) you're going through with the name change you're mentioning, then go with Gabriel. Just my opinion, I couldn't help but commenting on it... :)

So are you a girl? Don't worry, I guess it's difficult for people to discern my gender online. (Which makes sense, I suppose, seeing as the internet is for anonymity. ... Unless you live on Avenue Q.) Yea, Ichabod Crane is the, um, detective, I think was his position. Detective, Inspector, maybe just plain Officer... I can't remember anymore. O well, not worth worrying about. =3 I always wondered whether Ginny in Rowling's series was short for something or if it was her real name. I seem to recall maybe somewhere at some point somebody said her full name, which would clear that up if I could remember where it was... O dear, my mind is going. I'll have to track it down eventually. I have a friend from Russia who's obsessed with the Romanovs, particularly Alexei. You so much as mention the royal family, or even just Russia or the Soviet Union in general, he transforms into this obscenely knowledgeable living encyclopedia of Russian nobility and bloodlines. I set him off once because I mentioned a report on hemophilia I had to do for my Physiology class. Andrei's pretty insane... Really? Gabe? But now, what do you think about Jacob? Or Samuel? Because I like the nicknames Jake and Sammy... See, I pick names more based on nicknames than the names themselves. (I.E., Ichabod: Ikki. That makes me laugh so hard. If I had a friend named Ichabod, I'd call him Ikki all the time and he'd eventually have to like it. Likewise, if my name were Ichabod I'd require everyone to call me Ikki.) Evan is a good name because it's asexual, and I have a love affair with asexual names; Jesse, Robin, Leslie, Ryan, Jamie, Page, Bobby, Nikki- etc., etc. Willow is real pretty. I've never met a person with that name, although there was this girl in this book I read a really long time ago... I can't remember what it was. Something about dead days... I don't remember. O well. She was hecka tight- good name choice, in my opinion.

Friend: Boy, that test on Europe and Russia was hard. What was with number 27, anyway? Me: What do you mean? Friend: Well, the one bonus said, "name one of the Russian tsars..." Me: So, what did you put? Friend: Anastasia, like the Disney movie. Me: Oh, yeah, but she wasn't a tsar - *pulls down chart from nowhere* - you see, the Romanov- Friend: What the heck is a Romanov?! ...and so on. XD Jacob and Samuel are cool too. I particuarly like Jacob, and Evan is awesome. I know two guys named Evan (never a girl, though it could be) and even though they're both annoying, I still like the name. Willow is really girly, no offence!!!! There was this old show, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," or soemthing like that, and Willow was a lesbian witch... so that's just what... I think... of... Any name you pick is probably going to be good - you have good taste. :)

I don't think that was a Disney movie though. =o Strangely enough. It sure looked like one, but I'm so positive it was a WB movie I'd swear my life on it. Or maybe not... DUNDUNDUN. I've never seen Buffy the Vampie Slayer, but that made me laugh too, because I saw a commercial for it once when I was, um, prolly, eight? And it was the worst commercial I'd ever seen but I thought it looked so cool and I was ravaged with grief that my teevee wouldn't receive that channel. So it's about witches, too? That reminds me of a book a friend tried to get me to read... Twitchies or something like that. I'm pretty sure she mentioned something about lesbian witches in that, which was the only reason I was somewhat interested (go me for perversion! =D) but I think she said it was just implied... Which is prolly why I never actually read it. Of course I have good taste; I'm still talking to you, am I not? ;3

To Wikipedia! "Fox Animation Studios." Oh, I guess we were both wrong, then. :0 Buffy the Vamp Slayer is an okay show; I didn't watch it when it was actually popular, but my older sibling has some old DVDs of it, so I'm just getting into it. Willow sings a love song to Tara in the "musical" episode, and it's sweet, but kind of weird, when they're levitating in their little lovie dovie witchie-ness. I'd say go watch it on YouTube or something... you'll know what I mean. ;) Oh, Twitches, I heard that is terrible. Something about twin witches with green hair, something like that. Wait, what was this forum about? Oh yeah, names. Well, now it's about Anastasia and lesbian witches... somehow... XD

... Roll with it. BD Dagnabbit! That fox... I've got my shotgun in the trunk, let's GIT IT. xD I'm never good at remembering stuff like that. Such as: um... no wait, I forgot. See what I mean? Yea. GREEN HAIR? There were these kids I know who dyed their hair green for St. Pattie's Day. I almost did it with them, but then I remembered that I'd get fired for having weird coloured hair. O mai. Too bad, huh? Well, I'm already irish so I got kissed anyways. ;) YouTube is like heaven. Free movie-watchness, and reruns of your favorite episodes of everything. You just have to know what to search for. Sometimes YouTube is like a PMSing 32-year-old, though. It can get violent and unhappy at a moment's notice. Or violently unhappy. Whichever describes your experience best. Usually the latter, I'd say, seeing as a website can't truly be violent... Unless it's the subjet matter... and I'm rambling again... What's it like to PMS? xD Okay, random question. Don't answer that, just ignore me. ... But I am curious to death.

I mean, what does that have to do with the third episode of Cowboy Bebop? (or whatever you happen to be watching. That's just an example.) Nobody I know actually dyed their hair on St. Pattie's day, which is weird, because usually they do. But there were wigs. Good God, there were wigs. *shudders* ... Okay. Here's what it feels like when girls PMS: It feels like someone is constantly punching you in the lower abdomen (we call these "cramps"), drilling a hole in your head, and you get really tired. And you'll punch anyone who tries to ask, "what's wrong?" 'cause they don't get it!!! >:o So us girls have it bad once a month. If someone you know is PMSing, stay away before they sock you in the face. XD What about you guys and your, well, gross-ness? All the guys I know fart and pick their noses and have an ungodly obsession with football. Is that instinct, or what?

Youre kidding, right? The guys around you sound like total slobs. Im more of a soccer person, myself, so I think that that sort of slime-bucket is probably just indigenous to your area. Also, some people think I'm gay, but that's only half true. ;3 Yea, my best friend's girlfriend was totally fired up- it scared the crap outta me. I've actuaa=lly got thisnasty green and purple bruise on my shin now, too... =/ xD I dont read comments. =P

For the longest time, I've wanted to write a story where one of the main characters was named Eleanora. Right now, I am. I also like these names: BOY: Jeremy James Erik Derek Bradley GIRLS: Johanna (in the same story as Eleanora) Sara Lexi Lily Alex Kate Katalynn (with Katie as a nickname) Arden There are so many more girl names because I tend to write about them more, since I myself am a girl. I do have a oneshot in the point of view of a widower named Jeremy...at his wife Eleanora's wedding...who was best friends with Johanna...all these names tend to keep interchanging with each other, lol.
