How it jingled in his pocket as walked down the street, how it congregated underneath couch cushions, inside the washer, and within the shag carpet at his mother's house. He collected loose change and had it neatly organized in to jars labeled "Street Change," "Couch Change," "Laundry Room Change," and "Carpet Change." But what Joey really loved about change is how all those pennies, nickels, quarters, and dimes added up. Soon he would have enough money for

a gigantic pair of jet skis, by SupaSkii Co. They were the coolest jet skis around, and every high-tech freak wanted one. Including himself.

Joy filled his heart as he reached down to pick up the coin. He was only five cents away from having enough for those awesome jet skis, this nickel was all he needed. But the nickel would not come off the sidewalk.

Joey cursed the prankster who had super glued the five cent piece to the concrete. Really, who glues a nickel to a sidewalk. That's just cruel. Several tugs would not free the shiny coin and Joey resorted to glaring, hoping that his fiery stare would melt the glue away. "I will have you nickel, you and those super duper SupaSkii Co. jet skis of gigantic awesome."

Joey came up with a plan. He went to his bigger brother, Marley, to figure out a solution. He took Marley to the site of the nickel.

"Dang, Joey! I've broken out of jail seven times and into locked banks three times, but I can't get this nickel off the sidewalk! We better call in Vipe."

The Stormy Viper was a leader of a huge motor gang. He had muscles on top of muscles, carried a foot-long dagger in his front pocket and had a strange immunity to three-hundred different poisons. But

The giant horde of night monkeys from beyond the drain came up screeching at him! They grabbed the nickel and fled off to where ever they had come from. Joey then knew what he must do. He must fight the night monkeys with

Spoons! If they were going to take the nickel, he wouldn't go out without a fight! He ran and grabbed spoons when

the night monkeys pulled out sporks! He could feel the awesome power of the spork coursing through him! Was it a spoon, or a fork? His tired brain couldn't decide. As he slipped into unconsciousness, the last thing he saw was Thomas Jefferson's face grinning at him from the nickel. It was a 2003...

He woke up in a motorboat. "NOOO!" he yelled. Motorboats were his only weakness! That's why he wanted the skis-so he could destroy motorboats forever!

The night monkeys jumped out of the floor. Brandishing cheap magazines, they

proceeded to shove perfume samples into Joey's nose. He screamed with pain and fear, but the monkeys would not cease making him smell the evil lavender perfumes! He struck out very suddenly, carrying three of the monkeys away. More came on to fill the gap, but they weren't fast enough! Joey took th opportunity to scream at the monkeys,

but something silenced him. The head monkey! He couldn't get a good glimpse, for he passed out again. He woke up late wearing a pink dress and tons of make-up.
