Ranz waited for the others to catch up just outside of town, He already paid their fair to ride on the boat Mary Pumpersnoq and was sitting on an old upturned barrel, on the wooden port.

Mizumi gathered her bag of supplies and stuffed it into her pouch. "Hopefully food last long for trip." she smiled. She hoped that her english was getting better. Hellsing was still telling Reaper/Bob of the ingredients.(kill me for godmodding later) "Have you ever taken travel before?" she asked Ranz.

"Only when I fled my house... the most I've ever piloted is a small rundown fishing boat.." He sighed.. looking at the much larger craft in front of him..

"You have also run from home?" Mizumi asked studying his face.

"Well.. when my house burnt down... I lived in a tree fort for a while.. after that I finally decided to move on. I grabbed what was left of my dad's fishin' boat, seeing as me being the only one living- I inherit it- and sailed off as far as I could and I ended up here. My dad's fishing boat would be a bit small for your in wyvern form though... and it's old.." old.. sorta like how I feel.. he went to a tiny little ship, that was faded red. It was the farthest down the port, where it met with rock and algae once more. Ranz hopped on and when to the little Pilot's room.

((Not the washroom XD the little room with big steering wheel, that has no rear wall instead of a door. Think about what a modern cruise boat (family sized) and then picture it wooden, with a faded red.. wood color. It has a steel frame but that's it. It has 2 floors. Deck, and below-deck.

deck consists of captain/pilot area, and then a little 8x5 ft open space with wooden floor. Below deck is a navigation room(directly below cap's area) 2 bedrooms, and one bathroom.

The bathroom empties directly into the water so don't put oil or gas, etc.. in there :)

Mizumi put a foot in and; noting the immediate sinkage of the boat took her foot out. She bit her lip. "I-I think... I might sink it... With my weight... And its kind of shaky... What if the wave breaks it?" she asked worridly. As a wyvern she had never been on a boat before since flying was their main mode of transport. Though of course it was a mode she couldnt use...

"Try stepping on it in human form Mizumi.. she's been pretty sturdy for.. me." he was going to include Rose but... she.. is no longer with us...

((DB205 you know what I just realized...? AotR said I could control Rose.. etc.. when she wasn't here... at first I thought I wouldn't have to cuz she was on alot.. but.. well... Do you think it'd be ok for me to bring Rose....... along? I really miss AotR and Rose was kinda of a cool character.. I;d hate to see that just... disappear.. I'd like to ask you first though..))

"Alright... If you speak it." Mizumi tapped the boat and watched it rock back and forth. She nibbled her lower lip again and 'eeped' when the boat moved away from the shore as she placed her foot inside. She closed her eyes and leapt onto the boat. Her arms swung back and forth as she tried to retain balance. She fell flat on the floor ungracefully with a laugh. "Boat no like me." she said with a laugh.

You'll get used to it. He hopped on the boat and with a wobble he hadn't don'e in years, walked around the three-way glass wall into the capn's quarters

Ranz lead Mizumi to a small staircase, leading to the kitchen, bathroom, and the two bedrooms. (As it was usually only him and his father that went on fishin' trips)

it hit him... "Mizumi... there's only two bedrooms.. what're we gonna do? I leave it to you because your the woman... and you probably want a bed to yourself.." But I'm not about to sleep with a shape shifting man either... I'm not about to sleep with any man for that matter...

"Oh. I don't mind sharing." Mizumi told him with a smile. "Its much less lonely in a group."

Ranz had a spike of excitement when she said this.. "Are you sure?" I hope so... I... shes... perfect.... in... every way..

"I'm positive." Mizumi grinned. She laced her hand with his and tilted her head. "Could you show me around? I'm still a little confused. That was the barf room?" she pointed to the kitchen.

((lol barf room?))

"No that's the kitchen.." he smiled as he glanced at their laced hands.. "I guess were..." he trailed off... she'd know what he meant. he began walking slowly towards, and down the stairs, slowly so that Mizumi could keep her balance..

((Because they sound the same Mizumi mistook the word bath for barf.))

Mizumi walked slowly down the stairs, shuddering when the boat rocked. It looked a little dark and scary in the lower regions of the cabin. She reached for the flame that dwelled within her and made it rise nearer to the surface of her skin making her glow dimly. The light she emitted gave her a greater scope of the room. "It was getting kind of scary and- Whoa!" Mizumi slipped as the boat rocked and fell on top of Ranz flinging them to the bottom of the staircase. She closed her eyes and her heart rate sped up. She felt her glow fade. Her lips pressed against Ranz's.

((They fell down the stairs and she landed on top of him? And "accidentally" kissed him ? :) kk just sort sortin' things out in meh head here.. so many RPs... gettin to meh))

Ranz's face was a bright red, he felt as if his cheeks were on fire themselves as he lifted himself, and turned on the lights. He offered Mizumi his hand.. avoiding her stare as he attempted. and failed to hide his face. No use... mind as well see hat smart remark comes my way.. he turned his head back quickly. As to seem as if he were just glancing up the stairs. "Quite a fall... you ok?"

"Y-Yes..." Her cheeks flamed a she took his hand, sudden'y not grateful for the light. "S-Sorry about fall. Are you hurting?"

Ranz moved to kiss her cheek.. not entirely sure himself.. but somewhere deep thought it'd be the best thing to do. "I'm fine.."

Mizumi blush became even redder and she slapped a hand to her cheek just as Reaper came in. "Hellsing finished writing the- Did something happen?" hea asked quizzically.

"N-No!" Mizumi looked away from Ranz quickly.

Ranz stopped and teetered back onto his heels as to look as if he'd been joking.. "Uhhh... hi Reaper. umm what are you doing here? were about to set off. I was just showing Mizumi around.."

((Not now I take it?))

((Everyone thinks Reapers name is Bob! He hasn't actually said that he's Reaper yet.))

"Well I was getting the list. The first stop is Awerven, the underground city. And we have to get the..." He squinted at the paper. "I can't read this." he passed the poorly written paper over to Ranz.

((umm.. Oh right the cure XD Reaper is the one thatn eeds it.. jeez I'm dense.. umm... 2 bedrooms and 4 ppl... eugh.. Ranz gets the girl at least XDXD))

Ranz nodded.. "I know where Awerven is but.." he lit the tip of his finger on fire, carefully putting it below the paper as further light. After squinting a moment hsi eyes went wide "W-We can't go there... n-no not at all.... not... at all.... never..."

((I thought it'd add a fair bit of drama to return to Ranz's homeland, to one of the herbs.. Mizumi might be the only one that could have any chance at calming him...))

"Is there something wrong?" Bob/reaper asked in confusion.

Mizumi rested her hand on his arm and looked him in the eye. "What worries you so?" she asked concerned about the fear she glimpsed in his eyes.

"I-I..." he sighed and looked at her stolidly. "Shal'Orik is my homeland. I.. can't return.."

(Remember, this is where he accidentally killed his parents, was nearly drowned by local bullies, and.. well... literally beat close to death..)

She held his hand. "There is much sadness for you in that place... I-I have a feeling that you haven't yet had closure..." she squeezed his hand. "But- Don't worry." She smiled at him. "We can face it... Together."

((HURRAY UR ON! I hope...))

Ranz smiled, and his eyes flickered towards Bob for a moment.. Ahh what the heck.. they'll find out sooner or later... he leaned in to kiss her cheek "Together... sounds like a great plan.."

Mizumi blushed heatedly. Bob's eyes widened. "Whoa- so you're both together? Together? But in't she kind of- But then again for all I know she's three billion years old...Gah! Nevermind it!" his haed hurt a little too much from the recent events anyway...

Ranz leaned back.. "Umm.. yeah.. you and Sucki will be sleeping together, me and Mizumi will share the other bed. Teo bedrooms.. four people." he stepped closer to Mizumi, his arm resting acorss her shoulders. "Why are you so surprised?"

"Well she's a wyvern and your that guy who lights himself on fire and runs into the pier." Bob said.

((have to leave now... Its 12.30am))

Will you be on well... tomorrow for you? (today for me lol.. it's 12:30 PM here... lunch time.. I'm reaally sorry.. I mean it.. I'm sorry.. I totally wasted your time...))

Ranz sighed "And uhh.. no offense but were also the ones helping you in case you haven't noticed." he kissed Mizumi's left cheek ((he's on her left side, in a small hallway-like area :) with doors on either side leading to rooms. the end of the small hall is the Nav Room- there is no door to that in case of imergency. and were facing the stairs, which head towards the rear of the ship..)) before walking into the nav room to get the coordinates of where they needed to be, and the coordinates of where they are.

((By the time you get back on, my chap 01, and chap 02 of my story will be complete (counting AFTER the prologue, not including it if you read this.. you should be ab;e to understand why Ranz doesn't want to go back.))
