A world cannot exist with a foundation. The same can be said of this forum. As much as the concept of senseless genocide reeks of anarchy, this is a respectable establishment and rules must be set. General In general, I'd like for each of you to abide by the following: For one, all combatants must have a profile. I'm talking every character. I want details, appearance and ability being mandatory for every contestant. I'd prefer the use of Original Characters from fics you've written or are in the process of writing, but self-inserts are just as welcome. After all, who could be more original a character than you? Oh, and in case you didn't get the hint, only OC's allowed. No crosses from other fandoms, take that crap to FanFiction if you're so desperate... Co-OP The "Co-Op" topics are events in which our combatants team up to fight a common enemy. As such, I'll tolerate no combat between fellow contestants. There's a reason these two topics are kept separate! I'll be keeping a "Rogue's Gallery" for these particular topics. Basically the flip side of the "Entrance Hall", this is where you can get details about the monsters and such you'll have to face. You are permitted to place your own creatures, you may even place your major villains here for use in the "Co-Op" events. Take heed however, unlike your main combatants, anyone is free to use these characters and do with them as they please. Ranking You'll notice that most of our events have rankings. Yes, there is purpose to this as well. "Deathmatch" rankings are simply straight-up brawls. They're designed for quick, to the point action. I'd like all your posts here to be in a constant Point Of View (First-person, third-person, ect) and keep the dialogue between your own characters. An ideal example: "Is that all you got? COME ON!" (Swept it's feet clear out from under it) "Yeah! Take it!" Try not to diverge in terms of action, each topic is it's own story so you'll have to form some kind of plot. Trust me, it's easier than it seems. Note that this topic isn't designed for it's depth, that's why we have a higher ranking... "Tournament" rankings are basically what you get when you fuse a Role-Play with a collaboration fic. You will be required to write actual scenes the same way you would a story; details and all. Again, keep a constant POV (first-person, third-person, ect) and don't write dialogue for combatants not your own. An ideal post: "You ready?" Beside me, Papi shrugged indifferently. I'd never figure this guy, but it's not like that really mattered at the moment. Next thing I knew, we'd burst forth from the treeline; damn those stupid mothas looked surprised., even with it's head sliced off the first's eys were still peeled apart in utter shock. Juking through wave after wave of attack, I could honestly only think of one thing... "What shall I do with my prize money: binge on that year's supply of ice-cream or just waste it on 'finer pleasures'?" These topics go considerably slower than their "Deathmatch" counterparts, you'll have to limit your posts so that everyone has time to rotate in and out of story-telling. I'm sure we're all familiar with the concept of sharing, nows the time to apply it. Any complaints or new ideas can be taken up in the "Senate".
