BlackNhiteTopic: Rogue's Gallery
Here we have files on every monster you'll find in The Arena. Get to know your enemies... before they get to you. Empty: A form of "Darkling", discernable by the jet black skin coloring. They posses the frame of an average sized man and an exaggerated mouth lined with sharpened teeth (they have a nasty tendency to smile constantly as a form of psychological warfare). Other than their mouth, this body is devoid of any defining features; no eyes, nose, ears, hair (neither scalp nor body) are present. Are known to attack in squads of at least three, they're movements are random and confusing and they are fiarly adept ay dodging. Their attacks are limited to close range and they will use whatever means necessary to close the gap between predator and prey. Work well in teams, able to make out basic strategies. Other than that, they're fairly simple-minded. Especially vulnerable to Holy magic, resistent to Dark magic. | #1 Apr 10th, 8:15pm . Edited Apr 10th, 8:29pm

BlackNhiteHusk: A form of "Darkling", discernable by the jet black skin. Heavily built, these beings stand at an average of 6ft and are pure muscle. Like the "Empty", Husks lack any defining features. Attack in pairs, they usually go to surround the target and attack from two angles. Are surprisingly swift, though they tend to burn out after an initial burst in energy and need to hang back to recover. Tend to block rather than dodge attacks. They are just as simple-minded as the "Empty" though they seem more adept at straight up fighting rather than hit and run. Especially vulnerable to Holy magic, resistent to Dark magic. Highly durable structure. | #2 Apr 10th, 8:38pm . Edited Apr 12th, 2:19pm

Otseis RagnarokGramma Cactus: An enemy once regarded only as a cruel joke. Shaped like an ordinary desert cactus, with a pink blob at its top, it is an expert at blending-in in desert areas. They attack in swarms, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. But in fact, they spawn from each other. Each cactus shoots needles that can take the form of human fetuses. These "fetuses" (Also known as Gramma cactus babies) often explode on contact, and will grow into full-blown gramma cactuses if left alone. As they are plants, they are obviously vulnerable to fire magic, but also ice, and even water. However, poison and other ailing magics do not affect them whatsoever. | #3 Apr 11th, 4:41am . Poppa RocksWanderers: Normal humans possessed by squid cyclop masks (Always in business suits) . Though they don't travel in large packs the tatics they use more than make up for it. With the ability to shoot laser from the squid eye and tatic such as "Hide and snipe" and "throw dead bodies at it" it is not easy to pummel them with physical attacks but its their main weakness. |
|
Poppa RocksStalkers: gargoyles who travel in packs of 5-8 ,only means of attack is tackling their opponent until its crushed. Not very smart but very resourceful, they can take body parts of fallen comrades and use it as their own. Physical attacks do next to nothing, but magic especially water, rips through them like wet paper. |

BlackNhiteImpulse: A form of "Darkling", this one appears to have garbed itself in a flexible full body suit. Black in color, the suit also sports a set of neon green stripes running along the outside of either forearm. These stripes end at the back of the hand where they form a green cirlce design. This design is also present on the creature's forehead, giving it the appearance of a hollow, emerald eye. Physically, this enemy is out of normal proportion; it's wide arms reaching to it's shins and each palm of such size that it could easily envelope it's own skull using only one hand! It's legs, by contrast, are only about half the legnth of an average male. Surprisingly enough, this creature's legs serve as a main source of transport; it hops wildly about the battlefield. It's hands are far to busy to bother with such a formality. This particular Darkling, you see, is a demolitions expert. It can "pump" spherical bombs out of it's hands, the types varying with the attacker's desires. It can even plant landmines by placing an open palm against the earth. It has quite the pitching arm; coupled with it's elusive jumping this makes the enemy especially adept at "Hit and Run" tactics. As a side note, the neon green orbs on the back of it's hands glow respectively to represent a bomb's formation. As explosives experts, they have developed a resistance to any area damage attacks. The standard Darkling weaknesses and resistances apply. |

BlackNhiteHowl: A form of "Darkling", this one appears as a wolf-like beast covered in a thick mane of glistening silver hair. About the size of a small car, it's body is pure muscle and instinct. The skin beneath it's fur is jet black, a typical Darkling characteristic. It's eyes are a glassy teal, a light mist pooling out from their edges. Like true wolves, they are pack hunters and amazingly well-coordinated. Their silver hair is sharp to the touch, petting one would be like running your hands over a carpet of upturned knives. The only spot's devoid of fur are the feet and head. These creatures have the ability to pass through any solid surface that emits a reflection, entering a "shadow world". Whilst here, they can pop out of any reflective surface within reach, adding a daunting collection of ambush tactics to their regiment. They are also able to regenerate missing limbs by entering this world. Their teeth are filed sharp and they often go for the throat as a one-hit-kill attack. An elongated weapon is your best bet, particularly a sharp one. The hairs act as armor for the body, but only from attacks in the front that would run with the hair. Attacks that run against the hair can easily slip through this defense, impaling the enemy. As a special note, these beasts can only be brought down by piercing the heart. Any other damage can be easily regenerated in the "Shadow World" The standard Darkling weaknesses and resistances apply, though these enemies also brandish a unique weakness to water-based attacks. |
