The only thing is...Final exams start next Friday for me, go until Wednesday May 7, and then I start 80 hour work weeks throughout the summer.

So is this all about the soldiers in the Civil War, or are civillians allowed to be characters? Since I know NOTHING about the Civil War, I was thinking I could be a citizen or something. *shrugs*

So what got you started on the Civil War?

Long story short, I went to my grandpa's one day and he told me and how everybody in WWII worked together. Then I toddered off to school the next day and we learned about the Civil war. I says to myself I says, "If everybody was happy in WW2 what was so different in the CW?" I read some stuff on it. Then years later my buddy from chruch got me into reenacting. And I fell deeper in love.

It's funny how history lures people in like that. I used to get so bored with history, then I found this book series about American and Canadian history. There was a similar series out on the children of Royal families through history, but I swore I'd never read them. Two years later both collections sit on my bookshelf and people ask me about the WWI all the time. I tell them about how the kings of England, Germany and Russia were cousins and that only one of them came out of the war still on the throne. Fascinating for me, terribly boring for others.
