Woodstock1330Thx for the link Lee! I really want it too, I'm so tempted to do it...but like I said, it wouldn't get the attention it deserves from me. I love the Irish Wars, they're an incredible time/place in history! Have you seen The Wind That Shakes The Barley? It's about the wars, really excellent irish film! |
TatianolishkaI WANT TO SEE THAT MOVIE SO BAD!!!!!! |
Lee's ghost re-bornSomeone else has seen it! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! It sure it would if you had me pushing you all the way. My talent is to anoy people tills done! | #3353 Jul 22nd, 9:47pm . Edited Jul 22nd, 9:50pm

Woodstock1330Isn't it such a great movie?! Of course I'm partial to Liam Cunningham (and uh, the Irish in general?) so I had to see it! Cillian Murphy did an amazing job...all the actors did really, that's what comes of hiring Irish actors, for an Irish film, set in Ireland, about Ireland! I'll think about it...but I'm also in the middle of moving and trying to find a new job and starting college soon so...yeah. |
TatianolishkaEverytime someone mentions an Irish movie I think about "The Secret of Roan Inish" for some reason. OK, I'm dead. G'night y'all. |
Woodstock1330(That's funny, because I always think of Darby O'Gill and the Little People! :P ) Night! Meh...I know more about the union than the confederacy, but I really want a reb... *toddles off to do some research* I should have my new character by next year sometime? Lol. |
Lee's ghost re-bornWell we'll see if someone else wants it... I think of the Quit Man with John Wayne or Far and away..Tom Cruise does a terrible accent and Leanardo Decaprio doesn't even try in Gangs of New York.. |
TatianolishkaHooray for crappy movies. |
Woodstock1330Oh I love Quiet Man! I really love Far and Away, despite Tom Cruise's horribly botched accent--I found Gangs of New York more annoying than anything... I think my favorite Irish movie of all time though would have to be "The War of the Buttons" it's amazing, it's never been released on dvd and I don't think it ever will, despite several online petitions, it's hard to find, but a real treasure! Someone uploaded it to youtube so http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NDpAVFC5sm8 check it out! |
Tatianolishka... |
Woodstock1330hahaha---I just looked it up, I think they finally released it on DVD...shows you how much I know! :P |
TatianolishkaXD I know, they pulled that one with another DVD... Well, TV series. They said they couldn't release it to DVD because of some issue with the music... look it up a week later and there it is on Amazon. Go Crossing Jordan. |
Woodstock1330Woo! Seriously, it was my favorite movie as a kid! Well I've gotta go do a couple things, but I should be back in a bit. If you're around I'll see you then, I'll probably get my new character up and post for him in town. |
TatianolishkaShweet. |
Lee's ghost re-bornWanted to say bye and all that. *Hugs* |
Woodstock1330Finally got my character up!! Now a post...hmm...I have a question though, is the rp in real time or relative? Like would I post the same time as when the last post in town was, or would I post it a day later, according to the time that passed since you last posted. (I hope that makes sense...) | #3366 Jul 23rd, 2:46pm . Edited Jul 23rd, 2:54pm

Tatianolishka*hugs Lee back* Have fun! Try not to miss us too much! XD Woods - It's in random time. It can be three years later for all you want; someone will reply. :D |
Woodstock1330Three years later it is then! Lol! Bye Lee! |
eyes-of-a-hawk*nods to Sissi* Yup. Bye, Lee! |
Woodstock1330Finally posted! Took me all of a million years but, heh, no worries! |
eyes-of-a-hawkA million years is to a second, in this RPG time. :D |
Woodstock1330hahah, so I see! |
eyes-of-a-hawk*nods* I have yet to tamper with the laws of physics and have my characters be in two places at once, but time, for one, is relative here. XD |
Woodstock1330I dig it! ^__^ lol Meh, I'm so fickle, do you ever come up with a character and the second you think you've got himher all finished you suddenly want to go back and change a bunch of details? Grrr... |
eyes-of-a-hawkEh, don't worry. My char has been edited at least 5 times since her conception. That's why there's an edit button! :D Okay, not really, but it's there so we might as well use it. For Sissi whenever she decides to live again - I tried to get my friend to listen to Darryl Worley and she clapped her hands over her ears and screamed! *gaspeth* |
Woodstock1330I think the edit button is my new best friend *hugs it* Gah, Sissi needs to be on now, she's supposed to reply to my post... *sad* |
TatianolishkaSor-ee!!! The BF took me to a concert... I got a million bugbites. :( |
Woodstock1330No no, it's perfectly acceptable to have a life outside the black hole that is the world wide web! :P |
eyes-of-a-hawkNo, itisn't! No, itisn't! |
Woodstock1330hahah...yeah, you're probably right! :P |
eyes-of-a-hawk*groan* Speaking of black holes, I gotta go clean the bathroom that my two brothers (ages 9 and 11, heaven help us) trash on a daily basis. FUN! D: |
eyes-of-a-hawkHello? Hello...hello...hello... *empty forum echoes back* This is lonely. *sniff* |
Woodstock1330Oh I know that feeling! I'm watching my baby sister (just under 2), my niece (3) and my nephew (2 months) today... they're laying down for their naps now thank goodness! They should be going home soon though... ^__^ I'm going to be moving out soon though, so I'm actually enjoying being with them! |
TatianolishkaLee'd better get his ass back on soon or this forum will be dyin'. :D Aww, my youngest sister is 12. Not so cute when she's taller than you. XD |
eyes-of-a-hawkI won't let it die!! Never! My sister is 13 - the "pretty one" of the family. Not so cute when she wears so much makeup people think she's older than me. *snarl* Now she's claiming (out of the blue) that she's a writer, and everyone's all like, "Aw, hun, what do you write? You must be so smart!" And I'm in the background, waving and saying "I've been writing since I was 2! I'm the writer of the family, not her! Come and read some of my stuff!" but my parents tell me to hush and make supper while everyone coos over my perfect little sister with her perfect blonde hair and perfect little body. Can you tell I'm a little frustrated?? |
eyes-of-a-hawkOkay, breaking apart my little pity party. I need to go eat something - haven't done so in over 12 hours. *slumps forward onto keyboard, dead of starvation* a;ooooooooooodsgnnnnnnnnnc.kdjfxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxgyyyyyyyufdggbneriugybsy;u |
Tatianolishka*feeds hamburger* I know; my younger (not the youngest) sister is absolutely perfect in every way. Straight As, petite, pretty and exactly like my mother, who thinks she's perfect. *sigh* |
eyes-of-a-hawkOh, absolutely. My sister manages to get straight As in EVERY SUBJECT. I, however, am not a well-rounded student - I got a 73 in Hon. Chemistry last year and a 96 in World History. So my parents compare me with her. "Why can't you be more like Lydia? Lydia goes out to the mall with her friends. Lydia is popular. Lydia has boys flirting with her everywhere she goes. Lydia gets straight As. Lydia this, Lydia that." Once, we were introducing ourselves to some lady, and I said, "Hi, I'm Rachel." She said, "Oh, hello." Then Lydia said, "I'm Lydia." The lady had a meltdown. "Your name is Lydia?" she cried. "I adore your name! It's so pretty! You're so pretty!" And I was just standing there while the lady fawned over my kid sister. Okay, I'm done now. *deep, cleansing breath* I feel better now that I've vented. :D See? A smile! |
Woodstock1330Lol, you know how every family has the one black sheep? Yeah, my whole family are black sheep, except the baby of course. Everyone always liked my older sister though because she was so "cute" *eyeroll* sometimes I feel like the older sister instead of the middle one. (I also have three brothers...life is so great *sarcasm*) anyway... |
Woodstock1330Anyone around? |
TatianolishkaBabysitting gig. Replying now. |
eyes-of-a-hawkHellooo...or as the Italians say, ciao! |
TatianolishkaAs the russians say, Zdravstvujte! |
Woodstock1330Howdy ya'll! (er...as a very cliche westerner would say?) O_o; meh. |
Tatianolishkalol. I go "hey y'all" all the time. |
Woodstock1330I lived in Texas and then in Alabama for about 6 years when I was a kid, sometimes I still say "ya'll" even though I'm a complete yank. |
TatianolishkaI've lived up north all my life; it's the country music. :D |
Woodstock1330Lol--yep that'll do it! I tell you what though, sometimes I really miss southern cooking---grits, breaded catfish, fried okra, even black eyed peas or green beans boiled with ham for flavor...it probably sounds really gross...but just the thought makes my mouth water! |
TatianolishkaDarlin' I'm droolin' here. I'm a freak. XD |
Woodstock1330It's SO good...buttermilk biscuits and country gravy, pork bbq, chicken fried steak...now I'm seriously going to have to go shopping tomorrow and cook myself a southern style meal, lol. |
