DolvichTopic: So, you wanna be a reviewer?
If anyone would like to be a "Bartender" or someone who gives out reviews to those who ask, please post here and let me know. As of right now, it's just me, but the more the merrier! |
dragonflydreamerI'd love to! This sounds like a good idea, Dolvich :D | #2 Jun 19th 2008, 10:40am
DolvichHere's your apron, dragonflydreamyr- It's really pretty simple. Alls you gots to do is watch for folks to ask for a review, and review them. Then let them know that you reviewed them. That's pretty much it. And enjoy yourself. Nice to have you aboard. | #3 Jun 19th 2008, 11:10pm
SelaroseOkay, then, I'd love to! :D ~Thought it'd make more sense to post here... |
DolvichHere's your apron, Stella Luella Chick. You're hired. Nice to have you aboard. Have fun! |
KikyuuSure, I'll sign up. But I have to warn you that my hours are pretty erratic because of time zones. |
DolvichHere's your apron, Kikyuu. Glad to have you aboard, hope you enjoy it! Don't worry about the time zone thing. I'm in a screwy place myself. We'll make do. Welcome! |
theflyingcrabsareeatingmyhairI like reviewing. 'Nuff said? |
Dolvichthe flyingcrabsareeatingmyhair... Damn, but that's a long name. Here's your apron. Glad to have you on board! |
Alive Out of HabitI'll go with what the guy above you said. | #10 Jun 25th 2008, 2:24am

Violent MessiahIs there a position for a part time bartender? As a DJ, I work different nights and if I'm not sleeping days, I do a fair bit of traveling. But when I get free time, I'd be happy to help out. | #11 Jun 25th 2008, 9:39pm
DolvichSorry, ran out of aprons. I got some more. Supafly Writings, here you glad to have you on board. And I won't even say anything about your manly drink... Violent Messiah, part time works. Be glad to see you when you get the chance. We're always open. | #12 Jun 26th 2008, 2:23pm
Chidori NadareEerr...can I work as a part time bartender too (like Violent Messiah)? I want to give out reviews to people but my life's really busy (don't ask) so...I'd be happy to be part of the crew. | #13 Jun 29th 2008, 2:23am
DolvichChidori Nadare- Absolutely. Let me rustle up an apron, and you're on your way. Just make sure you're punching in when you stop by. Welcome aboard! | #14 Jun 29th 2008, 2:31pm

Trmpetplaya1Any more room on the books for another part-timer? I can make a mean Long Island Iced Tea, if that counts for anything. | #15 Jul 03rd 2008, 7:28pm

Imaginary RoseCan I be a part-time bartender. I'm of age. *shifty eyes* | #16 Jul 07th 2008, 1:23am

DolvichThoughtful Silence- Always happy to meet a fellow Scot. Just lemme find an apron... here we go. Welcome aboard! | #19 Jul 14th 2008, 8:41am
painted eyesHey there! I love reviewing people! Any chance of a part-time bartending job? One thing though: what do you mean when you say: 'Then let them know that you reviewed them.'? Do you just post that you have in the other forum? *feels slightly stupid* =] | #20 Jul 16th 2008, 11:43am
Violent MessiahWell, I can't hire but I can answer the question. When you fill a request for a review and possibly a drink, just post that your review is up in the same topic you read the request in. Easy as pie! Mmmm...pie. -=D | #21 Jul 16th 2008, 11:56am
DolvichPainted Eyes- Always room for another bartender around here. Glad to have you aboard. That's three Scots around here... nifty. Here's your apron, I'll go adjust the list. VM- Thanks for the helping of question thing. Mmmmm... stolen piece of VM's pie... | #22 Jul 16th 2008, 4:13pm

heart shaped box x3Uhm... Any chance that you would be willing to hire a younger bartender? I love giving reviews and I am able to get on fictionpress often. | #23 Jul 18th 2008, 9:58am . Edited Jul 18th 2008, 10:02am

DolvichOf course, lil one. Let me find you an apron, and you're in. Nothing wrong with being younger. Welcome aboard! | #24 Jul 18th 2008, 1:30pm

Violent MessiahHey, Dolvich...I got an idea. What if on the list of "bartenders", there was a list of there preferences of types of writings to review? This would make things easier for people to figure out who to request is they wanted someone specific to review. For example, say someone wanted their new poem reviewed by someone that was well versed in the art form of poetry. That person would do well to stay away from me and probably pick Drea, as she writes poetry and I have no clue about it. On the other hand, say someone came in with a horror story and wanted a review...then I'd be the go to guy. So what do you think? | #27 Jul 18th 2008, 11:23pm
DolvichVM- Don't want you to think I'm ignoring you guy. Just a wee bit busy. Had a grease fire on the grill in the back. I'll get around to that soon. I like the idea. | #28 Jul 21st 2008, 4:17pm

snowdanceOh! I'd love a Bartender job! But could it be part-time please? (stupid Dial-Up......) | #33 Aug 05th 2008, 5:43am
KikyuuI'm not in any position to hire, but I reckon it'd be alright with Dolvich if I say "Welcome aboard!" to everyone. It'd be great if we could get some more bartenders, part-time or otherwise, since there have been quite a few more visits and review requests lately. I'll leave it to Dolvich to hand out the aprons. :) | #34 Aug 05th 2008, 6:18am . Edited Aug 05th 2008, 6:19am

I'll give you a day off sometime soon) | #35 Aug 07th 2008, 9:46am

KikyuuHa. Thanks Dolvich, but I reckon Violent deserves the day off more than me. He's definitely been working overtime, and so have Silence and a few others. Well, I guess you can see for yourself over at the bar. | #36 Aug 08th 2008, 1:50am

FrameJockGiven my recent surge of reviews (mainly because I've been saying thank you in the best way to the folks that have reviewed me), I suppose I should count myself amongst the ranks of your part timers... That is, if you'll have me. | #39 Aug 16th 2008, 3:20am
DolvichAll right then. Where were we? That's right. Folks wanting to be hired. I see you've already begun to review, which is just fine by me. Serves me right for getting behind on stopping by. Had a bad sandstorm, but I'm catching up now. FrameJock (awesome pic, by the way) alittlebitconfused Stardust Seraphim Welcome aboard! | #40 Aug 20th 2008, 2:04pm

nasimrochesterI'm rather confused over here!!!! Talking about reviews? I just love to recieve them and usually send them too! But first someone pull me out of confusion! What is that with bartending? | #42 Aug 26th 2008, 3:51am
The Vegetarian Serial KillerHello new girl! Bartenders are people who you ask for reviews. They'll usually give you one, unless your work isn't their cup of tea, or if they're not around. To see what each bartender likes, go to the We Are What We Are etc. page. TO ask for the review, go to the Want Reviews...? page, post which story you want reviewed, and we'll get to you. Also, feel free to send reviews to people who request them even if you aren't a bartendee. | #43 Aug 26th 2008, 4:15am . Edited Aug 26th 2008, 4:18am

FrameJockThank you! And you should see the avi when it's got its full animation. Or, you could just read Hello, Cthulhu and get a better feel for what's going on. | #44 Aug 26th 2008, 7:49pm

DaggerstoneCount me in, Dolvich. I'm always running out on stuff to read, and reviewing helps me spot glitches in my own writing. AND I'm older than half the staff anyway... ;p | #46 Sep 06th 2008, 4:58pm

Aiko-MoonDamn i should have tried going here to ask you for a job. . This makes more sense, lol so yes what i am asking is if i may have a job at your bar. i might not be bale to go on alot, but i will do my best to do what needs to be done. i am a bit under aged, but that shouldn't be taken into account for what i can do for you. so pretty pretty please may i join???? I'll be uberly duberly happy :) | #47 Sep 16th 2008, 10:02am

AnaknusanI'm game to do some reviewing. As of right now I just work my way down the "Just In" stories pretty much every day reviewing stuff. I'd love to have a different way of finding stories. That is, if you're still takin' folks on. ~A | #48 Sep 18th 2008, 8:18am
