His town sits nestled inside and around an extremely active volcano. The homes are made of flame proof stones and cooled and hardened lava. Being near an active volcano, seems dangerous, but to the inhabitants nothing is more refreshing. Even eruptions are looked forward to.

These creatures, called Velanins, look human but have exceptionally violent natures. They have super strength(more so than vampires) and although they are not very intelligent they are adept fighters. They have trouble with magic, but quite a few of them are fire elementals.

They have dark eyes and heavy matted masses of red to smoky gray hair. Also even thogh it is blistering hot, they often wear fur skin coats, clothes and boots. Also can see in the dark and have very sharp teeth they use to rip into their prey. Can eat a lot in one sitting, then last for days or weeks.

They don’t have the engineering capabilities to create any type of advanced technology, but as warriors hired under Lord Poole, they are given enough to keep themselves at an advantage against all other races. They are the chief mercenaries of this planet.
