Kat came into the great hall, not seeing anyone there

"Wow, it's empty." Hoshi smiled as her voice echoed.

Kat put her hands to the sides of her mouth "Echo" she called and her echo. She smiled "It must get really load in here with allot of people" she commented

"Yeah, it must." Hoshi laughed.

((Got to go to bed. Ciao.))

Kat grinned "Hello!" she called and listened to her echo "I think I'll only come in here when its empty"

"It's fun when it's empty." Hoshi smiled.

"Sure is" Kat agreed smiling also

Hoshi looked around, liking things when quiet and open, and not crowded.

Kat preferred big empty spaces too "Let's see what else is around" Kat suggested

"Sure, sure." Hoshi nodded.

"Any suggestions?" Kat asked not really sure what where to go

"There's the lake, or if you're feeling rebellious the near-by town, Yarlow." Hoshi suggested.

"Lets try the lake first" Kat said wanting to see the campus before the town "Lead the way"

Hoshi nodded.

((To the lake.))

(From the nurses office))

Kat and Forty-Seven walked into the great hall "This its big enough" Forty-Seven commented

((From School Nurse.))

Hoshi smiled, resisting the temptation to shout to hear her echo.

Kat smiled "Shout" She said to Forty-Seven. forty-Seven obeyed "Hello!" she called her voice echoed "Definitely big enough" Forty-Seven said, she didn't smile, Kat hoped she would

Hoshi smiled at echo, but when she saw that Forty-seven did not, she just led them to the kitchens, inside which were goblins who were already cooking lucnh.

Forty-Seven watched the goblins with the same blank look she always had

The goblins ignored them.

"Excuse me" Kat said to the nearest goblin

He span round. "Students in the kitchen! Why are there students in the kitchen?!" he screeched.

"You needn't shout, we were just wondering when lunch would be ready" Kat said being polite

"You should be in class." The goblin grunted, conjuring up three chairs. "Sit."

"I don't start classes until tomorrow" Kat said as she sat, Forty-Seven sat without a word

"I sort of ran away." Hoshi mumbled.

The goblin went of grumbling and came back with food for all three of them.

Kat glanced at Hoshi but decided not to ask right then. "Thank you" she said kindly to the goblin instead

Hoshi smiled and also thanked the goblin, who walked off grumbling again.

"You really need a name Forty-Seven" Kat commented as she started eating the food given to her. "I have a name" forty-Seven said also starting to eat "No you have a number" Kat pointed out. "We have been through this Katarina" Forty-Seven reminded. Kat sighed "Yeah I know but you still need one"
