She filled his glass with orange juice and sat down across from him, wondering if he felt awkward with her after last night.

"No, I have the day off."

She smiled, looking down at her plate.

He smiled.

"So what do you plan to do now that you are unable to fight?"

''I dunno yet''

"You can always work at the school house with me or get a job at the factory."

'' Shcool eh''

"It doesn't pay much but I'm sure it's easier than being in the battle field."

he laughed.

"What's so funny?"

"If you don't know then don't laugh." Lyla said, pouting cutely in her seat.

He smiled.

"Well, anyways, do you know an subjects well enough to teach children?"

"History."

"I'll heck tomorrow if we have an opening for you."

"Thank you!" he reached over gave her hand a sqeeze.

She blushed again, "It's no problem."

She didn't pull her hand away like she should have, leaving it in his hand.
