Claire kissed him back. "That's what you said last time!"

"And nearly did."

"But you didn't!" Claire grabbed both his hands in the plans on making him dance again, "And you'll be fine this time too."

"Do have to shritless?"

"Not if you don't want to," Claire told him, "But you still are going to dance whether you want to or not. Or, would you rather I slapped you again."

He kissed her hard. "I'll dance only for my Clare

Claire grinned and started a sing again, a slow song this time. Very carefully she placed one hand on his shoulder and continued to hold onto his other hand. Then she started to dance, a few slow, gentle steps.

"You're so beatful," he murmered trying to keep up.

As it appeared that Donnie was keeping up, Claire continued to sing, and she lifted up one of his hands and twirled under his arm.

He grinned happily.

Noticing how happy he appeared, Claire twirled under him for a second time.

When the song was over he pulled her tightly into him. "I love you," he whisppered.

"As do I." Claire giggled and wrapped her arms around his neck, staring up loveingly into his face.

He kissed her hard and smiled. "Slaping me was the smartest thing you ever did."

Claire laughed. "And why was it that?"

"It made me relize how in love with you I was."

"So I guess slapping people is a way to show affection." Claire grinned and planted a kiss on his lips.

"Or scareing them half to death," he teased. He rubbed her back softly.

"It didn't scare you."

"Yes you did,' he laghed kissing her neck.

She laughed. "But you still fell for me anyway so it didn't really scare you that bad."

"Big surpise there," he said, rubbing her shoulders.

"I know, wasn't it." Claire rested her head against his chest.

"It wasn't at all honey,"he said puting hand her hair. "I only needed time."

"I was teasing you," Claire replied, "Haven't you learned by now that I like to tease! Of course it wasn't a big surprise! It was meant to happen all along!"

"You think it was fate?"

Claire nodded. "I think it was our fate to love each other. How could it happen any other way?"

"I dunno." he mused sqeezing her hand.

"Don't you believe in fate?"

"Not rally, i like to think I make my own choices."
