Darla frowned and shook her head.

Joey headed into the restaurant.

"How bought some ice cream?"

Jack followed watching her move, she looked so pretty in her dress.

"Ice cream!" Darla squealed.

Joey laughed.

He went to the firg and brought back two blows. 'Don't spell any or I'm dead."

Darla nodded and tried to very very careful with the ice cream.

"Good stuff eh?"

Darla nodded, her mouth full.

He smiled at his sister.

Jack leaned against Joey as they were seated.

Darla smiled back.

Joey held his hand gently.

Her brother roughed her hair.

He sqeezed it as they were seated.

Darla ducked away, sticking her tongue out.

Joey smiled at him.

He got back to watching TV.

Darla went with him.

"Time for bed."

Darla frowned. "Not fair..."

"I let you stay up a extra hour."

"But Anna and Liam aren't going to bed yet..." Darla put her thumb in her mouth.

"Bed before I ticklke you to death!"

Darla walked off to her room, not wanting to be tickled.

"Works every time."

Darla crawled into bed and picked up a pictured book from her bedside table.

"Want me to read you a story?"

"Yes pwease." Darla nodded, putting her book down.

"Once upon a time.."

Darla listened eagerly.

He tweaked her nose. "Bed now."

Darla yawned. "Okay." She lay back in her bed, waiting for Colin to tuck her in.

He tucked her in and kissed her cheek. "Night sis."

"Night Colin." Darla closed her eyes. She was asleep only moments later. Her thumb in her mouth.

He went back to watching TV.
