Owen tried to cover himself up.

"What on earth were you thinking, Owen?" she continued. "I raised you better than this."

"Go mother," he snarled.

"I am not going until we get you back home."

"And what do you think we'll do?" Laura said, doing her shirt back up. "The law's on our side. Pa will tell you."

"There will be a great scandal around this, Miss Brig - "

"Mrs. Duffy." Laura corrected. "Mrs. Owen Duffy."

Owen ignored his mother and gave his bride a big smooch.

Laura kissed him back and turned to Mrs. Duffy.

"We won't go back until you can accept we're married."

"I'll have you know that Owen won't get a cent of his inheritance while he is with you."

"I'm not the gold digger you make me out to be." Laura snapped. "I'm as human as you or Owen."

"But you wouldn't deprive him of his money, now would you?"

He laughed out loud. "Mother, do you think I wanr money?

"You'll need it to feed that whore and her spawn."

Laura wanted to slap her.

Owen actully did. "OUT MOTHER!"

Mrs. Duffy was not used to her son acting like this.

"Look what you've done to him!" she said accusingly before getting out of the room. "You will never be my daughter-in-law."

Laura stood still.

Owen slammed the door in her face,

She looked at him in shock.

He hugged Lura tightly.

"I'm sorry Owen... God, I've ruined your life." she said, shaking her head.

"Shh.." he said and kissed her. "I don't care bout money, I care about you."

She kissed him back.

"What're we gonna do, babe?"

"Finsh our honeymoon.."

She smirked.

"Where to?"

He froced her back on the bed. "Right here."

"Your mother is right outside the door!" she hissed, trying not to laugh.

"Be extra loud then," he smriked.

She laughed.

"Owen Duffy, you get out of that room this instant!" his mother called from outside the door.

Owen kissed down her neck slowly.

She moaned and breathed his name loudly for his mother to hear. Mrs. Duffy was furious.

"OWEN!"

He smriked awt her. "She can't stay out there all night."

"I know your mother." Laura smiled. "She won't give up."

"No matter what, I love you," he said and kissed her tenderly.

She kissed him back.

"I love you too." she said.

He ran a hand in her hair and dipped to kiss her neck.

She sighed softly.

"I'll come in..." Mrs. Duffy warned.
