She kissed him back and held his hand. "Why don't we go see your Pa again?"

Laura couldn't believe him. Not this soon. She was afraid. She didn't have a mother to ask advice, and she knew nothing about having children. "I'm scared..."

“Me too,” he pressed her hand.

“Come with?” he said putting his arm around her. “He’ll love you.”

Kath smiled and put her head on his shoulder. "I won't leave your side." she promised.

Laura looked at him.

He kissed her and they wondered over to his house.

Laura watched from afar and smiled to herself. Kath held on to Patrick tightly, fearing being separated again.

Down below, Laura sighed and put her hand on her stomach.

"Hopefully I won't be too bad of a mother." she smiled. "Da always wanted grandkids anyways..."

"You'll be a great mom."

Mr. Brighelm to on his pouch, puffing at his pipe.

Laura smiled half-heartedly. "Let's go to bed."

Kath looked a little nervous.

"Ok."

"Our daughter needs you,"

Yes'm.

Laura went upstairs and fell asleep.

Kath looked at Pat.

"She needs you."

"Which one?"

"Lura."

Kath looked at him.

"What's wrong?" she asked. "Is she alright? Was she with Maggie?"

"She's having a baby and worried that that could happen to here."

Kath's eyes widened and she glanced down.

Laura, feeling a bit restless, had gown downstairs to walk around. Kath appeared beside her in ghost form, so Laura couldn't see her. She brushed her daughter's cheek.

"You'll be alright." she assured her daughter softly. "You won't turn out like me, Laurie."

Laura glanced around, trying to find the source of the voice.

"Ma?" she whispered.

Pat apaired next to kath, but visable.

Laura turned around and jumped back in surprise at seeing her father, almost falling against the unwashed dishes.

"God lets us vist sometimes," he told her.

It took a little bit for Laura to get her sanity back.

"OK, OK." she sighed, still a bit confused. "Wh-what's going on?"

"I wanted you to know we're keeping an eye on you and my grandchild," he smiled.

She knew that smile. Only her Da could give that kind of "everything's-gonna-be-alright" smile.

"Thanks, Da." she grinned back. "So uh, how's life up there? I thought I heard Ma's voice a bit ago."

"Well it is heven," he chuckled. "You did, she's here she didn't wanna scare you."

"You haven't changed a bit, Da." she smirked.

He laughed. "Kath?"

Kath made herself visible and Laura smiled.

"Ma, you've got to help me." she sighed. "Owen... we're having a baby and I have no idea what to do!"

Kath shot her husband a look that said clearly out. Girl talk.

He gave them each a kiss.

Laura felt warm inside, knowing her Pa was, somehow, still here.

Kath chuckled.

"Out."

Then he left them alone going to find Lura."
