He kissed her. "Don't I know it."

She chuckled.

"Have a good day!"

"You too," he gave her hand a sqeeze and was off.

Aliyah picked up her scarf and returned home safely.

Bruke came home at noon.

Aliyah was making lunch for herself when he came through the door. She smiled.

"Hey love!" she greeted. "I wasn't expecting you so early!"

(*pokes* Weeeeeasel...)

(OW! Me eye!)

"It was short."

(*digs out eye with trowel* AHA! I have a weasel's eye! My spell is complete!)

Aliyah put down her pot and kissed him.

"No more cases today?"

"I got lucky."

Aliyah smiled.

Bump jumped through the doggie door and pawed at Burke's feet.

He boy,' he smiled.

The dog wagged his tail and barked.

"Now now, Bump!" Aliyah scolded. "Be nice. I just cleaned that suit."

He picked him up.

Bump wriggled and licked his face eagerly.

He laughed.

Aliyah chuckled and came over.

"I take it you're his son now, Bump?" she asked the dog, ruffling his ears.

"He's my dogy uncle."

She laughed and kissed the dog's head.

"Good, because I think Burke will have enough on his hands with Levi, Sarah, you, and this little one."

"Three children," he smiled.

She looked up at her husband and smiled.

"Yes." she said, eyes glowing with pride. "Three... I still can't believe it..."

He smiled and kissed her nose.

She blushed.

Bump struggled to get down, yapping.

"I think we're growing him out,' he laughed.

Aliyah laughed and the dog lept from Burke's arms, scurrying towards a couch.

"Do you want some lunch?" she asked. "I was planning on going into town for a bit... you can come, we could get something to eat..."

Sure."

Aliyah smiled, then looked at his suit.

"Get some different clothes." she said. "You'll ruin these ones."

He smiled and changed.

Aliyah put on her hat and put Bump on a leash. Or at least, tried to. The dog wound around her legs and dragged the half-attached collar around until Aliyah just gave up.

Bruke laughed and called the dog.
