"I won't say anything." he said. "Come on Mutt, let's get some breakfast."

She glanced over at her husband and sighed.

"So why are they going to Uncle Albert's? Or dare I ask?"

“I wanted you to have a romantic evening..I have plans,”

She raised her eyebrows, then smiled and kissed him.

"I'll be patient." she promised.

Sarah came back and tugged on her mother's hand.

"Levi made waffles!"

They both rose. “And I brought fresh strawberries yesterday.”

"Yummy!" Sarah said, going back down the hall.

Aliyah laughed and got dressed.

"You remembered."

“You mean everything to me, how could I forget?”

Aliyah laughed and brought out breakfast.

"Sit down, you two." she said. "Or this will never get eaten."

"Can I have some more strawberries?" Sarah asked sweetly. Levi passed some over.

“Shall we hand out presents?”

Levi dashed off to find his.

"I already gave mine." Sarah said happily. "Mommy loved it."

Aliyah beamed and showed it off proudly around her neck.

Aliyah held the dress and twirled, laughing. When she saw the locked she picked it up with gently hands and sighed.

"Oh, Burke!" she sighed. "It's beautiful!"
