She sighed.

"I'll go buy tickets for the train to England. We can take a boat there." she said quietly. "We shouldn't tell the children."

She sighed and stroked his back in a warm embrace.

"Love..."

He turned toward her looking at her.

She kissed him lovingly.

"You need to sleep tonight." she said with quiet concern. "We'll have to leave tomorrow night at the latest. Who knows when they will return."

He kissed her back and snuggled into her.

She held him close and tried to fall back to sleep.

He woke after a restless sleep.

Aliyah was already awake, making a quick breakfast for the family and working on preparing lunches for the long trip across the sea.

Bruke came up behind her and rested his head on her shoulder.

She tied her hair back with a ribbon and packed the rest of the sandwiches into her bag.

hE PUT THE DOG INTO THE CAR AND CAME BACK. we're leaving all this.

She sighed.

"Love, would you give the children breakfast? I should start packing them."

She pointed to some toast and jam on the counter.

"Of crouse dear," he said making crude jelly sandwiches "Breakfast!"

Levi and Sarah hurried over.

"We better hurry!" the younger girl said. "Miss is having a big test today. It's on math."

"You're not going to school today," said Bruke.

"Why, Daddy?"

Levi glanced up, celebrating on the inside.

"We're going on a big trip."

"Really Daddy?" Sarah asked excitedly. "Where? Is Bump coming? Is Mommy coming? What are we doing?"

Levi put his hand over his younger sister's mouth and she mumbled against it angrily.

He lookd to Ally unsure what to say.

"Sarah, eat up." Aliyah said simply. "It's a surprise."

Bruke reached for her hand.

She squeezed his hand gently.

"Eat up." she said to them cheerily. "I need help packing."

Bruke went off to start loading the car, he couldn't beleive they had to leave.
