Claire kissed his hand softly. "Do you think that no matter how many times it happens that it will ever get easier?"

"No.."

She smiled, "The kid's will be heartbroken to see you like this.."

"I'm sorry," he whispered

"It isn't your fault," she replied, "You couldn't have changed anything."

He kissed her.

She kissed him back.

"I will for as long as you want me too."

He puy his head on her shoulder.

Claire ran a hand through his hair. "Will you get well quickly for me??"

"I will do my best, my love."

He odded and touched her hair.

She smiled, and held his hand, looking directly into his eyes.

He kissed her again. "Should I see the kids?"

"If you want to," Claire replied softly, "But we have to make sure that Taylor doesn't pounce on you."

He just laughed.

"I'll go get them," Claire said standing up and leaving the room to fetch the children.

He nodded.

Taylor came running into the room. "Daddy," she cried, "Why are you up playing with me? Why does mommy say that I can't jump on the bed."

Claire followed her carrying Brian and holding Sarah's hand.

"I got into accedent honey."

"But it's daytime," Taylor said, "You don't sleep in the daytime!"

"Dady got hurt," he tried to explain.

"Why?" she asked staring at him, puzzled still.

"The car crashed."
